Does anyone else watch it? Or is it just me...

I love it because it reminds me of another life when I used to sew (before the DC's came along and before I lost the footpedal to my sewing machine in a house move).

The contestants are just so talented and I like the beardy man judge too. Anyone else?

I think the young lad might be out tonight...

I think Tamara is v good

Logg1e · 25/02/2014 20:39

I think David should go.

Logg1e · 25/02/2014 20:40

I like Tamara too (having quickly checked the link open in another tab).

Logg1e · 25/02/2014 20:40

The host is a bit orange on my screen.

Jellykat · 25/02/2014 20:40

Think you're right Roussette, shame, as he's very enthusiastic, but lacks skill.

Sneezecakesmum · 25/02/2014 20:41

Am absolutely loving sewing bee Smile

Inspired to sew but know I'm rubbish Grin

Jellykat · 25/02/2014 20:42

Do not adjust your set Logg1e, Claudia usually is.

holycowwhatnow · 25/02/2014 20:42

Isn't David Mr PoPo? I thinks he's better than Simon and Julie. Julie's getting on my wick.

Roussette · 25/02/2014 20:43

I just couldn't get excited about sewing mens pyjamas not as if I would be capable in the first place

I think Chinelo makes stunning clothes. Did you see how old the machine is that she uses at home? Clear example of someone with amazing talent not being held back by her tools.

Roussette · 25/02/2014 20:44

yes Mr. PoPo! I want him to stay because he's an unlikely candidate

I agree Sunny, I don't recognise her approach but she shows a real flair and talent.

oif · 25/02/2014 20:45

I agree. There's nothing exciting about men's pyjamas. Although I like the look of Linda's. Suprosed how plain Chinelo's are.

MaryWestmacott · 25/02/2014 20:48

Am also surprised by Chinelo's really simple jimjams, I'd expect something rather fancy from her.

SunnyL · 25/02/2014 20:49

I just can't imagine spending an entire day making a pair of pyjamas when I could go to M&S and buy some. So so so boring.

I much prefer making dresses - at least then I get to make things I cant buy in a shop.

Although I really admire their skills.

Roussette · 25/02/2014 20:50

Yes agree SunnyL and although it it highly skilled I think some of the jimjams are going to look a bit grotesque!

Although I remember a blogger I follow saying how satisfying it was sewing pyjamas/dressing gowns and coats for her kids, because they are the things they wear all the time, whereas dresses/skirts etc. don't necessarily get that much wear.

Roussette · 25/02/2014 20:52

I do like Mr. PoPo's black and white ones.

Is that Cerina's in the background? HUGE!

Sneezecakesmum · 25/02/2014 20:52

Need to learn how to do piping!

Making button holes is a wrist slitting exercise!

oif · 25/02/2014 20:54

Yes the yellow is a nice touch on DAvid's

SunnyL · 25/02/2014 20:55

I've done 2 shirt dresses in the last year and I've decided I feckin hate doing collars. Never seem to get them right.

The red stripey pjs were amazing though.

Roussette · 25/02/2014 20:55

Chinelo's looks a lot easier

Awww... he did well, he's only young and he's done fantastically
