I turned out to be a walker too.

I always flinch when I see daryl in just a waistcoat and bare arms. It just takes one to get to close. I think I would have to fashion some sort of leather protective sleeves to go with my batman utility belt.

Re hiding out in a mall, sounds good but didn't they do that in dawn of the dead. I don't think it ended well!

If we are talking realistically which obviously we are considering the subject then LtEves plan sounds the best. I'm guessing it would be much easier to make our way to the army barracks than aquire a cruise ship. (Adds ship to plan b)

I think cruise ship is long term plan , after we all go to LtEve barracks, learn to shoot and get loads of weapons! We may want a change of scenery or more space or something. If there are lots of us it''ll be easier

Obviously we'd go to LtEves barracks for Series 1, then when it gets overrun or stormed by a local power hungry psycho, we would escape to our cruise ship - which we had already prepared and planned for, since we were sensible enough to put into place a proper contingency plan. Thus would begin Series 2.

Those Americans could learn a lot from us about surviving. You fail to plan, you plan to fail!!!

Blondes one of the Webisodes (linked above) shows the very early days of the outbreak, where the army are still buzzing around in helicopters, and making loudspeaker broadcasts.

The theory from the people in that episode was that it was a terrorist attack, some sort of germ warfare.

Which, if true, might suggest that it's confined to the USA and the enemy state might hold a vaccine....

I doubt TWD will ever venture beyond Georgia though.

Zomblies can't turn handles as they don't really have any intelligence or control, do they? Which is why the spikes and barbed wire defence worked so well for that poor guy alone on the street that Rick found.
