I'm not familiar with army barracks - surely there aren't individual rooms so if somebody dies at night you'll get chomped. Plus it would be nice to have privacy.

The more I think about it the more I like the cruise ship. As long as there are plenty of life boats and ways to get to and from the ship. It would be a good place when it comes to defending against other humans too as I think they could be quite a threat. Don't they have desalination equipment too? Plenty of fresh water in that case.

We have 2 water towers on my camp too.

Now I'm torn. Back to leaning towards the ship. Mainly because anywhere on land could potentially be surrounded and if there were enough of the buggers then sheer weight of numbers could be enough to overun any land based refuge.

I'm near a number of navy bases, might head there first as I don't know where Lteve is

I would look for weapons, save myself, carry a crossbow (already know how to use one), steal as much as I can carry, like being alone, marvin the martian.

I am moving in to Warwick Castle if when the apocalypse comes. Via the army stores and the police vehicle workshops which are just round the corner.

I always fancied myself with a castle... and they have hosses, birds of prey and a trebuchet. Fun times.

As for how to survive the zombie apocalypse I've often spoke of my worry that our house has patio doors and a conservatory none of which are Conducive to a safe survival bolt hole my dh thinks I'm mad but looks like I'm not the only one.

No the first episode was on last night at 11pm!! Omg have people missed it. We then have another episode on Monday night so that we are only 1 day behind the US.

I thought this thread was lacking any comments on the programme. Coral was an annoying little shit as usual.
