I really dislike Carl.

More so than usual.

Was it just me concerned about the poor doggie?

I thought the car that took Beth, though not a hearse, kind of looked funeral parlourish? Maybe the the person who was living there took her?

Next weeks episode looks terrifying.

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 11/03/2014 09:01

I kept expecting the dead folk to sit up or turn! Yeah me too!

What the hell was going on with Maggie when Sasha found her at the end... she was lying among a group of walkers, wasn't she? What was that all about?

Oh I was worried about the doggie too.. although at first I thought he might have been a zombie doggie and was going to bite Daryl. Poor little guy.

I thought the car that took Beth, though not a hearse, kind of looked funeral parlourish? Maybe the the person who was living there took her? Good point! Yes, there definitely seemed to be someone there, and yes they were probably weird, laying out the dead and all that.

My prediction is that Darryl will come across Beth with his group of hard men and will have to pretend to still be bad, whilst secretly plotting to rescue her.

I MISSED the preview of next week's ep!!!. I did record last nights - is it worth going back to see the preview? Is it that good?

BlueFrenchHorn · 11/03/2014 09:16

Good point about the person who kidnapped Beth being the same person who lived in the house.

michonnes I agree Daryls going to pretend he's turned bad but will really end up saving her. Then Beth will say that she knew Daryl was "good people"...

Idk why maggie was lying on the ground as well. She said she was waiting for Sasha but I don't get why she was lying amongst the walkers and why they didn't try and bite her.

When she ripped the walkers gut open to write Glenn that message I thought she was going to cover herself in the walker guts and walk among them like Glenn and rick did I series 1. No obe does that trick anymore. Also, once it rains it'll wash her message to Glenn away so she should've carved it I think.

I would youtube next weeks preview if you can michonnes it looks like a team carol heavy episode and lots of frightening things going on.

I'm really rooting for maggie and glenn to reunite and I will be a sobbing wreck when rick and carl finally (hopefully!) see Judith again.

susiedaisy · 11/03/2014 09:22

I thought Maggie was lying in between two dead walkers to rest/sleep and go unnoticed by other walkers.

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 11/03/2014 09:41

OK I'll try and watch next weeks preview. Yay team Carol!

Yes, I thought Maggie was disguising herself between two dead walkers too... risky strategy if you ask me, especially since there was a nice safe building opposite where she just could have written a note on the door for the others to tell them she was there.

I think your theory about Darryl is right Blue - after all the scene setting between Beth and Darryl, her trying to work out if he was a criminal or not, and then deciding he's 'good people' - he'll have a momentary lapse of badness, he'll wonder whether he's more at home with these new bad guys, then he'll re-find Beth and /or Rick and have a momentary wobble between good and evil, before good will win over. The end.

sparklesandbling · 11/03/2014 11:08

I think it would be a better storyline if Daryl never finds Beth again but we the viewer see a clip of her in a creepy house being looked after by the creepy person undertaker - very horror! A bit like all the horror movies u get like texas chain saw massacre.

I think next week will be Carol's group and Glenns.

The only bit not looking forward to is the baby possibly dying as we did not see her in the preview and Carol was looking down crying so one of the kids is not going to make it I suspect :(

Kind of thinking I might not watch next week or get a spoiler as I cant bear to watch kids being killed (even in a zombie make believe programme)

sparklesandbling · 11/03/2014 11:09

Also I didn't get the romance vibe between Beth and Daryl, I thought it felt more like a friendship brother/sister

50shadesofknackered · 11/03/2014 12:41

I'm sure in the back of the car that Beth was taken in there was a cross or something in the back window, so if we''re going with the religious idea of Terminus maybe they will take her there.

BlueFrenchHorn · 11/03/2014 13:38

50 was there a cross? Well spotted! I knew terminus and it's salvation talk sounded all a bit religious / sect -like.

sparkling I don't think they will kill Judith I'm pretty sure Lizzie is going to show her true psychoticness and Carol will end up confessing tp Tyreese that she covered up for Lizzie. I suspect Lizzie will die and possibly the sister as well, not sure how much more they could go with the two kids storyline wise, whereas Judith is an important part of Rick and Coral's story.

We need more Michonne airtime!

50shadesofknackered · 11/03/2014 13:54

I think there was Blue I agree we need to see more of Michonne. I liked the bit about how Bob joined the group at the beginning as well. I thought Maggie was dead when Sasha saw her from the window, I'm pleased she wasn't, I like her.

PeanutPatty · 11/03/2014 13:57

I wonder if the funeral person who he kidnapped Beth uses the funeral parlour as an escape haven when s/he has time out from Terminus?

I can already see where the Daryl and Joe gang scenarios are headed. Bound to be a situation with a woman and those bastards wanting to take advantage of her and Daryl having to find a way to save the woman.

Maggie said that she had wandered off the track looking for a walker to leave a message for Glenn but she found more than she needed hence the hiding amongst the dead.

I think next week's episode is going to be one of those horribly tense ones. Carol looked distraught. I don't think it will Judith. More likely Lizzie or her sister going missing and then discovered as walkers later on.

susiedaisy · 11/03/2014 17:42

Arrrgh is it only Tuesday. Can't wait another week till the next oneAngry

PeanutPatty · 11/03/2014 18:06

I wouldn't be trying to go it alone! Safety in numbers innit?

BlueFrenchHorn · 11/03/2014 18:45

I know susie I can't wait for the next episode!

somewherewest · 11/03/2014 19:30

I think Daryl and the gang are going to run into some of the people from the prison and Daryl is going to have think very quickly.

Figster · 11/03/2014 20:01

How many episodes are left this season? Anyone know?

laraeo · 11/03/2014 20:10

Down to 3 eps.

I hope everyone gets to Terminus soon but I bet it won't be til the last episode and even then they might not all run into each other.

I'm betting younger not crazy sister dies. I think Lizzie is too interesting a character to get rid of now. I bet Carol learns how Lizzie really is.

Wickedgirl · 11/03/2014 21:25

michonne maybe Maggie didn't want to write a note on the door of the building saying she was inside because of other people reading it and taking advantage of her being in an empty building by herself?

Driveway · 11/03/2014 22:27

Daryl talking more makes him less interesting, not more.
I didn't feel the same about Michonne, maybe because she had a back story, and it explained her being so taciturn when she joined them.
I don't like Daryl feeling sad and missing everyone, feeling like he failed Rick and whatever. It's dull. Rick does enough emoting and hand wringing.

Driveway · 11/03/2014 22:31

Oh.
Question!

Pick the two characters you'd want to be stranded with away from the others.

I think I'd go for Glenn and Michonne. They're both smart, resourceful, and they're good fighters and importantly - not too annoying!

HighlanderMam · 11/03/2014 22:39

Daryl and Michonne

SaltySeaBird · 11/03/2014 23:09

Just caught up with the most recent episode. Enjoyed it but feel the storyline is moving slowly now. Beth getting kidnapped (I presume) feels like a diversion just to get Daryl into the wrong crowd.

I'd want to be stranded with Glenn and Michonne too. Both pretty level headed and sane, great fighters, resourceful and loyal.

Greenkit · 12/03/2014 00:50

.

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 12/03/2014 00:51

Daryl and Michonne in a heartbeat.

Both double hard, strong, resourceful, and don't talk too much.

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 12/03/2014 00:53

Ooh Ooh, just thought of an advantage that Glenn has over everyone else - he's had the nasty killer flu bug and survived, therefore must have some acquired immunity.

So should another outbreak occur... I'd want to stick with him!
