three, don't worry, I am a one man woman and it's Pot all the way for me (unfortunately, as I am old enough to be his mother). Never fear, Boris is safe.

raahh, your doc is speedy. Glad you have a bit of relief.

Soderling never came back from his illness did he? unless hes still ill.

Raahh · 22/03/2014 17:46

Didn't he have glandular fever? or mono as they call it StatesideGrin.

I think that can be very debilitating. And I suppose an injury, provided you are well in yourself, is easier to come back from ? (hopeful).

Heather Watson had GF- I don't think she has really recovered properly.

LetZygonsbeZygons · 22/03/2014 19:28

one of my all time fave players, Miloslav Mecir had to retire before his time through injuries. he could have gotten so far.

what a graceful player, was like watching a ballet.

Raahh · 22/03/2014 21:34

Lets- I liked Mecir- his semi final against Edberg, in 88, when Stefan went on to win the title, was a brilliant match. Stefan was two sets down. My nerves were shot to piecesGrin

'The Fabulously Named Jack Sock' (his official name, like show dogs) is playing Raonic. So this week, I am going with Sock.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 22/03/2014 22:56

I've not seen Sock around for ages. I too will be supporting Jack Sock this week.

Think Heather is on the way to getting better. Last I heard she was OK some days but still quite weak on others. That was a couple of months ago though so could be better now.

Didn't Justine Henin have glandular fever as well? Athough I think she had something else wrong with her too.

Raahh · 22/03/2014 23:10

I don't know about Henin. I loved watching her, she was so different from the Williams' sisters, and a breath of fresh air.
I hope Watson can re-gain her form, I prefer her to Robson. I get the feeling Robson is difficult to work with.

Raahh · 22/03/2014 23:12

Mind you- I would rather have Venus and Serena than the constant stream of indentikit Eastern Europeans. It's very hard to keep up with who is who in the women's game these days.

Raahh · 23/03/2014 12:15

Seems Djok's 3rd round match was a walkover, Mayer must have pulled out for some reason.

JuanPotatoTwo · 23/03/2014 16:03

I'm in such a despondent mood due to Pot. How ridiculous is that? Dh is having the time of his life winding me up so at least some good has come of it :).

Glad Nadal got shot of Hewitt, never took to him. Dh was also commenting on Andy in the Sports Relief thing Raahh but I haven't seen it.

Raah the identikit players do my head in. they all look and play the same, like factory line.

unless I look at the score thing with their names sometimes I cant tell who they are!

Mama1980 · 23/03/2014 18:12

Murray is looking good a set and break up.

Awww Juan have Wineand Thanks Grin

JuanPotatoTwo · 23/03/2014 21:39

Rafa, Stan, Boring Isner (who might have a tough opponent in Almagro) Berdy and my new favourite Dogsbollocks are all playing today.

Could be some interesting results. Raonic is not hanging about in his match, though, so i may get to refresh y screen quite soon for the Dogs match.

Alex, dahvai! , as they might say in the Ukraine. Or Russian, anyway.
