three, don't worry, I am a one man woman and it's Pot all the way for me (unfortunately, as I am old enough to be his mother). Never fear, Boris is safe.

raahh, your doc is speedy. Glad you have a bit of relief.

Goran is gorgeous!

How's DD, Pesky?

Raahh · 11/03/2014 20:08

I do love Goran. When he was a player ( early on)- i wasn't keen. But he was so focussed and determined, and passionate the year he won Wimbledon (one of my favourite finals), he won me over. It was the perfect way to bring a competitive career to an end.

Dogsbollocks irritated me when he was faffing around getting 'salt' put in his water bottle by his coach in the stands at Wimbledon. Never seen anyone allowed to do that before. (that was him, wasn't it?). You're at Wimbledon, you're playing a match- how do you forget to prepare your proper water??? (unless the bottle contained something other than salt....Wink )

JuanPotatoTwo · 11/03/2014 20:53

Gasquet is very French n'est ce pas? There's something particularly french about his legs. And his grunt when he serves.

Muddled, you can have Goran if you keep your mitts off Pot. The commentator for the Cilic match mentioned how different in temperament Cilic and Goran are. He said he remembered a match where Goran smashed all his racquets and had to default as he had nothing left to play with! Opponent offered him a racquet but he declined!

Dd feeling bit better but still suffering horrendous stomach cramps. She's googled her symptoms and convinced herself she's got ulcerative colitis. She is at least back in Bangkok though had to endure awful journey to get there. We've told her she must go and see another doc.

I don't remember the salt in water incident but wouldn't surprise me, he has a furtive look about him does old Dogs Bollocks :)

Grigor, Ernest and the umpire having a nice chat at the beginning of the match :). Wonder how long Ernest can last without having a strop!

OP posts:
JuanPotatoTwo · 11/03/2014 22:24

Think both of these have come on a lot in last few months. I know Grigor is supposed to be BabyFed but his agility and mobility around the court reminds me of Djok. He's a great shotmaker too.

JuanPotatoTwo · 11/03/2014 22:25

See, I can do this commentary business, no probs :)

JuanPotatoTwo · 11/03/2014 22:27

Earlier on English commentator said "Who dares ...". American commentator replied "Who dares what?" Was q funny.

Grin

Andrew Castle will be quivering at your expertise. And we like you, so that's a bonus Grin

Raahh · 11/03/2014 22:47

I think Dimitrov is finally coming into his own. He needs to focus a bit more, and he could be a real threat this year.

Is he still with Shrieky? She will ditch him, if he gets more successful. Who is her coach this week? Grin

JuanPotatoTwo · 11/03/2014 22:56

Djok through.

OP posts:
JuanPotatoTwo · 11/03/2014 22:59

Oh I don't like the pictures in my head at the thought of Andrew Castle quivering :)

Yes, he's still with Shrieky, he seems far too nice for her. I haven't checked in the last hour who her coach is!

OP posts:
Raahh · 11/03/2014 23:00

it changes so often. Shrieky is high maintenance, I think Grin

maybe quivering was not the best choice of word Grin

JuanPotatoTwo · 11/03/2014 23:34

Gulbis's racquet just bit the dust - after he smashed it on the floor.

OP posts:
JuanPotatoTwo · 12/03/2014 00:11

Mardy pants wins. Er, I mean Gulbis wins. I do actually like watching him play despite his unattractive displays of temper.

I want to watch Thiem but not sure I can stay awake long enough.

OP posts:
JuanPotatoTwo · 12/03/2014 01:55

Well, watched up til 4-1 in second set. All going Benneteau's way up til now.

OP posts:
Raahh · 12/03/2014 10:21

Gulbis never disappoints in the stroppy stakes Grin.

JuanPotatoTwo · 12/03/2014 20:00

I must be a glutton for punishment - currently watching him v Bautista-Agut. Andy has just gone into third set v Raonic (boo, hiss).

OP posts:
Raahh · 12/03/2014 20:15

Raonic looks like he should win this. But the Veseley looked like he should have won too....

Raahh · 12/03/2014 20:23

And Raonic wins.

JuanPotatoTwo · 12/03/2014 20:24

The sun is absol blazing down in Indian Wells yet the players are only sheltered at changeovers by the poor ballboys wielding brollies. Wonder why they don't have proper parasols that can be put down during play.m

OP posts:
JuanPotatoTwo · 12/03/2014 20:26

Kind of glad Raonic won. If I go on holding a grudge against everyone who has ever slighted or beat Pot I'll be limiting my enjoyment somewhat!

OP posts:
Mama1980 · 12/03/2014 20:34

Think raonic deserved to win that. Wonder if Murray's gonna mention the back, he was doing a lot of twisting and face pulling.

Mama1980 · 12/03/2014 20:35

How's your dd Juan?

Raahh · 12/03/2014 20:37

I'm glad he won too

Murray hasn't played well all tournament- I'm sure there will be an excuse. No matter what his fans might like to think, he really lacks consistency. If he's going to defend miami, he needs to play a lot better. or rely on his main competition losing

I hope Ferrer plays Miami- at the moment Potato is still on the schedule- fingers crossed he plays.

As to the weather- I still wonder how they all survived the heat in Australia.
