three, don't worry, I am a one man woman and it's Pot all the way for me (unfortunately, as I am old enough to be his mother). Never fear, Boris is safe.

raahh, your doc is speedy. Glad you have a bit of relief.

Potato has wished us all a happy women's day on his facebook page. Which is nice of him. No fighting over who his wishes were aimed at Juan and magi.

JuanPotatoTwo · 08/03/2014 17:20

Oh I hadn't heard about Baltacha. What a blow for her. Fingers crossed that she can make a full recovery.

Clay, indeed there's no need for a fight, we all know who he means his wishes for :)

OP posts:
magimedi · 08/03/2014 19:42

Indeed, Clay No fight here.

He certainly wished for MOI!!

Who wants a rotten pesky spud?? Grin

Raahh · 08/03/2014 21:35

JuanPotatoTwo · 08/03/2014 22:54

JuanPotatoTwo · 09/03/2014 18:30

Pot has pulled out of the singles at Indian Wells. :(. Watching Berdych v Bautista-Agut at mo. Bautista off to good start.

My dd is ill and stuck in Laos. :(

OP posts:
Raahh · 09/03/2014 18:56

Nooo! Not againSad
It's really not going well for Pot.

Hope your dd is better soon, Juan

magimedi · 09/03/2014 19:52

Poor DD, hope she feels better asap.

Poor Pot - I hate to say it but I think his days (on the tennis circuit) are numbered.

JuanPotatoTwo · 10/03/2014 17:04

I know Muddled, if he doesn't get it sorted properly you've got to question how long his career can go on. Maybe between us we can persuade him what the right thing to do is! I see Bautista-Agut beat Berdych last night. Nadal and Djok through.

Dd has had to spend a couple of days in hospital in Laos with some dysentery type thing. She's had really painful stomach cramps - dh and I were starting to talk about arranging flights to Laos to rescue her - but she seems to have improved a bit over the last twenty four hours. She also got trapped in a toilet cubicle last week by some bloke who started to grope her. He had her backed up against the cubicle door and she got away by biting his hand (which was over her mouth) and kicking backwards and breaking the cubicle door :(. I want her to come home now.

OP posts:
magimedi · 10/03/2014 17:13

I read something in the Sundays that Pot wonders if he's going to play again this year!!

Glad to hear DD's dysentry is on the mend & good on her for fighting back at the man. Horrible experience, but she shouldn't come home - she'd really regret it if she did. It's the double edged sword of the internet & texting - it's great to hear from them, but I wonder if it was easier when you didn't?

Where does she go after Laos? Let's hope things look up soon for her.

Mama1980 · 10/03/2014 17:34

Poor potato Hmm I really hope he can recover. Tsonga out too, he looked very out of sorts I thought.

Aw Juan totally understand your feelings, I hope you're dd gets better soon. How's she feeling about the trip now?
If it helps in anyway I travelled round the world at 18 got into all manner of tricky, weird and downright terrifying situations I survived but the good parts outweighed the bad totally.

JuanPotatoTwo · 10/03/2014 19:23

That's good to hear mama, thank you. I think once she gets to New Zealand I'll start to feel bit happier. When her stomach was at its worst she was wishing she was home but I think her spirits have picked up a bit now.

Interesting match between Murray and Vesely (who I'd not heard of but was a very good junior apparently). Started off looking like Murray was going to walk it - score was 3-0. But now it's 6-5 to Vesely (still in first set). Just going to tiebreak now.

OP posts:
JuanPotatoTwo · 10/03/2014 19:31

Wow. Vesely takes first set 7-2 in tb.

OP posts:
JuanPotatoTwo · 10/03/2014 20:18

Second set to Murray but many breaks of serve. Certainly had to work hard for it.

OP posts:
JuanPotatoTwo · 10/03/2014 20:24

So Vesely breaks in first game of third set.

OP posts:
Raahh · 10/03/2014 20:35

I've been refreshing this one like a mad woman.Grin

Good to hear your dd is feeling better. Cubicle thing sounds awfulSad. Hopefully her trip will now be less eventful.

JuanPotatoTwo · 10/03/2014 20:59

Thanks Raahh.

It's a great game. Lots of service breaks. Flashes of incredible tennis. Spurts of abysmal tennis.

OP posts:
Raahh · 10/03/2014 21:01

Grin they are swapping games a lot.

JuanPotatoTwo · 10/03/2014 21:06

Andy wins. Look out for Jiri Vesely though, sure he'll be back.

OP posts:
Raahh · 10/03/2014 21:07

Aww, well, Vaseley didn't just roll over. I'm sure, after not playing so well the other day, Murray was expecting something easier.

JuanPotatoTwo · 10/03/2014 21:39

Fed through.

OP posts:
JuanPotatoTwo · 11/03/2014 09:37

Wow, didn't expect that - Dogsbollocks beat Nadal.

OP posts:
Raahh · 11/03/2014 12:32

grrrr.

I've only just seen that- have a rotten headache today. Might be the change in the weather.

I never liked DogsbollocksGrin

JuanPotatoTwo · 11/03/2014 19:36

Hope your head is better Raahh. I think it's the first time Dogsbollocks has ever beaten him. Cilic just won his match. Goran is ageing well, or rather, not ageing at all. Looks virtually the same.
