Vera leaving the cobbles really made me blubbing. I'm not sure if Hayley's departure will make me feel the same?

Me neither, its a neat way of putting about 6 regulars in the frame to drag out a whodunnit then having the disposable character as the guilty one.

Wishfulmakeupping · 12/04/2014 20:26

Think you're right about Kirsty which would be a waste of a potentially good storyline in the near future- I thought the actress playing Kirsty was so good. I've got to say that although I don't like the character the actress who plays maddie is very convincing and acts Sophie off the screen.
The good news is Jim macdonald is coming back into it so him and his 'Elizabeth' and Steve should have some cracking scenes coming up

KenDoddsDadsDog · 12/04/2014 20:39

Can't wait for Jim so I can't .

squoosh · 12/04/2014 20:48

Catch yourself on! Are you telling me Jim McDonald is coming back so you are? He must be out of the big house so he is.

AmIthatSpringy · 12/04/2014 21:00

oh no. Not Jim MACdonald. Grin squoosh

AnneEyhtMeyer · 12/04/2014 21:59

Oh brilliant! I love Jim "Big House" McDonald, so I do.

qazxc · 12/04/2014 22:06

I hope Jim gets Steve to dump Michelle. If genders were reversed, I think a lot of people would judge her actions as abuse.
I had a snigger at Fizz telling Tyrone not to meddle (about her and Maria) considering how intrusive she has been.
I'm 30 weeks pregnant and have been craving brie and cheese, but thanks to phelan, that's all gone now. Can he do the same about pate and wine?

eddiemairswife · 13/04/2014 00:37

Please not Jim MacDonald back yet again. Every time that actor is out of work he turns up on Corrie. Can't the writers say,"No"?

Ellenora5 · 13/04/2014 02:12

What about ye young Stevie, is that there young Michelle you are back with, sure she is a fine young lassie so she is, not a patch on wee Becky but sure there ye go, oh who this nice young lady, Andrea is it, sure she's a lovely wee thing, don't you be minding Lloyd, he will get over it sure he will, what's the story with your mother is she seeing anyone, she's a fine looking woman, always was ye know, I screwed up there big time Stevie boy, do ye think I still have a chance, where's young Andrew these days, haven't seen him in a while what with being in the big house and all, ah ye know yourself Stevie it's not easy being away from family so it's not, I've changed you know, I have so I have, I'll get back with Liz and find some money and buy you out of the pub so I will

SavoyCabbage · 13/04/2014 08:14

They should bring Andy back too. Now his dad is out of the Big House.

JodieGarberJacob · 13/04/2014 09:16

I don't like Jim and certainly don't want him to come back as a major player. It would be awful if Steve and Michelle split up and the pub was centered around Steve, Liz and Jim (and Andy). I'd like a bit of antagonism between Liz and Michelle with Steve in the middle. Don't want the dynamics of Jim there. Can see a men v women war on the cards with Steve and Jim sneaking around and Liz and Michelle on the warpath.

JodieGarberJacob · 13/04/2014 09:18

Ellenora, love that! I can just imagine him saying it. Eurgh.

qazxc · 13/04/2014 09:29

Maybe Jim will have an affair with Michelle, it's not like he hasn't done that sort of thing before.

Slainte · 13/04/2014 09:30

That was very good Elinora Grin I was reading it in my head in Jim's accent (so I was!).

KenDoddsDadsDog · 13/04/2014 09:33

That was class Ellenora so it was.

carabos · 13/04/2014 13:44

At least if Jim comes back we will have a character who is designed to be ridiculous, rather than turning out that way because of ludicrous plot lines Peter, Tina, Owen's entire family and associates, the much-married Rita, Maria n Marcus, Sawfeh, Dev, Gail and all the Platts, Tracey-luv oh that seems to be about all of them.

alemci · 13/04/2014 15:36

yes I'd like a bit more friction between Michelle and Liz, most mothers would stick up for their families.

again Steve was dictated to by another female on his work premises, Jenna. why should he have to get out, he works there, she doesn't?

all become rather silly.

don't mind Jim

squoosh · 13/04/2014 15:52

Ellenora that is uncanny so it is. Fair play to ye!

But why are they bringing Jim back, he's such a crap character.

Someone, can't remember who, posted this here before. It makes me laugh!

Ellenora5 · 13/04/2014 16:52

Grin oops had a few drinkies when I posted that Blush

That video is great Squoosh

AmIthatSpringy · 13/04/2014 21:26

Well Ellenora, it was good - even if he is an annoying arse (so he is)

eddiemairswife · 16/04/2014 22:41

Sean seems to have a thinner face.

thenightsky · 17/04/2014 21:59

Sean was getting very fat last year. He's been missing a few months apart from brief scenes. His weight loss is very noticeable now.

Lighthousekeeping · 18/04/2014 22:27

I'm just catching up. That bloody Tina I literally want to throttle her with my bare hands. The whole Maria and Ty thing. Just pathetic.

DesperateHousewife21 · 19/04/2014 16:56

Ive still got about 3 episodes to watch but wanted to mark my place.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 19/04/2014 19:32

Total crap, as if Carla would hug Tina like that. Totally contrived.
