Vera leaving the cobbles really made me blubbing. I'm not sure if Hayley's departure will make me feel the same?

If it does turn out to be suicide then Moomin's Inspector Calls theory is a good one.

In fact, maybe it starts out as murder and turns out to be suicide?

Ellenora5 · 05/04/2014 02:51

"I'm sorry I have to let you go" Grin wonder will Tina get a redundancy package with that.....Peter is telling her he can't have another child because he is a crap father (no shit sherlock) and will have to announce in a few weeks that he is going to be father again and him and Carla are thrilled.....lots of evil looks from Tina and her confiding in her new best friend flatmate (whats her name) and probably telling David as well, you know ,so we can have another Kylie/David/Tina bore fest

Bornin1984 · 05/04/2014 02:58

Was Tina's test positive?

KenDoddsDadsDog · 05/04/2014 06:38

No , negative. But the test is still lurking in the flat ...

ProfYaffle · 05/04/2014 06:42

Steve and Peter in bed together were hilarious - best thing I've seen on Corrie for ages. I noticed even Liz commented that Michelle was going ott so I wonder if there's a storyline brewing there.

laylalilac · 05/04/2014 08:37

Steve was brilliant Smile and so glad that Norris was the first one in the new gym when the doors opened a little glimpse of the old Corrie .

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 05/04/2014 08:37

Liz had on one of her superbly OTT 80s style outfits and big hair tonight.

I liked the Peter and Steve scenes too.

Anna is very naive isn't she, did she really think Mrs P had no idea what her arse of a very rich husband is like?

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 05/04/2014 08:39

Oh yes, Mary on the crosstrainer too. How on earth did Dev go from being completely broke after the tram crash to able to fund a gym? Sunita"s life assurance?

JodieGarberJacob · 05/04/2014 08:51

Hope we are not in for more bad acting/shouting from Nick once he finds out about Leanne and her new beau. They are obviously setting the scene for a big 'fight' after Nick's warning.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 05/04/2014 08:55

I don't like Leanne's current haircut, it's very ageing

NuggetofPurestGreen · 05/04/2014 10:25

Everyone being so angry with Steve is pissing me off. When he did nothing wrong!!!

And was there no smell of booze off Peter after a big mad night? You can usually tell when someone's been that pissed!

alemci · 05/04/2014 10:30

anyone else wishing Steve would tell Michelle where to go. She is a bully and dragging him by the ear practically was cringey.

She is boring and whiny now

NuggetofPurestGreen · 05/04/2014 10:40

Ellenora it's fucking stupid isn't it. Doesn't he think she'll notice Carla being pregnant? Why couldn't he just say he wanted to stay with his wife? So annoying.

ProfYaffle · 05/04/2014 11:54

yy to the ear dragging. I was Shock at that bit!

Wishfulmakeupping · 05/04/2014 12:00

Steve has been on top form this week his facial expressions alone have been epic Grin

theliverpoolone · 05/04/2014 12:30

I wonder if the scriptwriters will remember that Leanne and Peter were trying for a baby and about to start fertility treatment when his affair withCarla started? Will be interesting to see how she reacts to Carla being pregnant.

eddiemairswife · 05/04/2014 13:23

I too was wondering why Carla couldn't smell the stale booze on Peter's breath. She made the comment about the aftershave being strong, but I don't think it's that easy to hide that someone's been on a bender the night before.

Ellenora5 · 05/04/2014 13:28

Unbelievable shite Nugget

Mind you I fast forward so much of it now that I don't know why I bother watching

MoominMammasHandbag · 05/04/2014 13:36

The writing for Tina is just awful. They have completely changed her character. There is no consistency or coherence to it, even within the same episode. I do think soaps would be more powerful if the characters and relationships were more sustained: Tina hasn't spoken to Rita for ages, Leanne has gone from breaking her heart over Nick into lusting after his mate in a matter of weeks. Nick has done a massive u turn over letting Leanne go. And the David/Kylie/Gail relationship is just so volatile, from one episode to the next it's ludicrous. We are evidently meant to feel sympathy for horrid bully Owen and flaky rubbish Dad Tim is suddenly a bit of a salt of they earth type. And as for Michele......

StampyIsMyBoyfriend · 05/04/2014 20:44

See my above post... re scriptwriters being on drugs! Clearly, the only feasible explanation! Grin

qazxc · 06/04/2014 09:25

Michele is totally over the top!
Granted I wouldn't be delighted if DP got rat arsed and didn't come home. But it's hardly the crime of the century, all her carry on and the dragging by the ear was well OTT.
I love Steve's acting and the scene in the bed had DP howling with laughter.

eddiemairswife · 06/04/2014 09:57

What always made Corrie stand out from the other soaps was the humour. I was reminded of that in the Steve and Peter bed scene. In real life people find things to laugh about in all kind of situations.I sometimes wonder if the whole whiny Windass clan have one single humour gene between them.

AmIthatWintry · 06/04/2014 13:55

Steve and Peter in bed was quite funny. As for the rest, I'm getting to the stage where I'm not too bothered if I miss a few episodes.

I have been thinking, though, about Michelle dragging Steve along the street.

If roles were reversed, we would all be screaming LTB

Wishfulmakeupping · 06/04/2014 19:02

Qazqc my oh was laughing at that scene too :)

Bornin1984 · 07/04/2014 19:53
