Yikes, I hope not, poor Sam looks so bewildered at the moment, wonder how long it will go on for, hopefully not that long that we will give up caring what will happen.

It's a crock of poop and no mistake. Can anyone really be as horrible as Charity?

It better improve in the coming months or it will lose me as a viewer.

MomentForLife · 16/01/2014 21:33

Did anyone else think that if Rachel knew they were waiting for her to come out, she could have told the police what car they were in etc and what they'd done?

Would have looked a bit odd that Declan was sat in a car with her belongings.

BabyMummy29 · 16/01/2014 21:48

The whole thing makes no sense whatsoever. It's like the Rachel actress has decided to leave and they've hurriedly thought up as outlandish an exit for her as possible.

MomentForLife · 16/01/2014 21:56

Yeah does seem that way. I find myself worrying for Val more though!

Cain leaving???? wails

Ellenora5 · 17/01/2014 00:16

Ye I heard that too about Cain, think I mentioned it on the other thread, I don't want him to leave and I hope Moira doesn't end up with her brother in law, if he is going I want him and Moira to go off together and she can leave the farm to brother in law

I agree with the above, surely Rachel could have told the police and they could have gone out to car and seen the big wad of cash and the new phone, it was absolutely one of the worst storylines ever.

I think she did have Archie going into the station, she was pushing the pram as far as I remember but how can you be charged with arson and nearly murder and then told to go on your way

Very lazy script writing indeed, you must do better emmerdale!!!!

I will no longer be watching when Cain leaves.....I will be too distraught

Strawdolly · 17/01/2014 14:55

The most interesting thing for me in last night's episodes was the colour of David and Alicia's kitchen wall - I loved that blue and want it for my kitchen.

Zabelithe · 17/01/2014 17:59

Emmerdale has lost the plot, stories are too far fetched. Do they really think we find them believable?

Wuxiapian · 17/01/2014 20:44

I can easily skip Emmerdale these days. It's become silly and there are less and less characters I like.

SlatternMissesherGrumpyCat · 17/01/2014 22:49

Normally I love Emmerdale but I have taken to fast forwarding every scene with Sam and/or Rachel in it, beyond tedious.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 18/01/2014 14:41

I'm finding this storyline both frustrating and upsetting (yes I know it's only a programme Grin). Also couldn't understand how Rachel was out talking to Charity when she'd just confessed and they let Sam go. Especially since Sam didn't even get bail!!! Joke.

It's funny the way the soaps go through peaks and troughs, a couple of months ago I would have said Emmerdale was the best soap out of the 'big 3' and now it's the worst. And considering how dire Enders and Corrie are at the moment that's saying something!

Strawdolly · 18/01/2014 17:10

I don't watch Eastenders but it'll be interesting to see which one gets the best soap award this year. Be good if it was an outsider, might give them the kick up the arse they need.

I did like Brenda's hair when she took her wig off - she suits it like that Smile

NuggetofPurestGreen · 18/01/2014 17:51

Strawdolly I was coming on to post exactly that. Her real hair is lovely much nicer than the wigs.

I stopped watching Enders last year but have started again as of this week as the other two are gone rubbish.

ChippingInWadesIn · 18/01/2014 18:04

I thought these were supposed to be 'no spoilers' threads Hmm

ChippingInWadesIn · 18/01/2014 18:07

I love the 'ooh' 'argh' will he/wont he stuff (especially as no one I know irl watches it!) but I didn't want to know things like Cain is leaving. If spoilers are 'ok' with everyone else that's cool - I'll stop reading the threads then I wont spoil it for myself :)

NuggetofPurestGreen · 18/01/2014 18:09

Don't think they're no spoilers as we've definitely discussed upcoming plots before (and same over on the was on the Corrie thread). Sorry if you got spoiled though!

ChippingInWadesIn · 18/01/2014 20:41

Oh OK - when I've been on them they haven't been. Never mind, I'll just stay off them :)

SpottyTeacakes · 18/01/2014 20:54

I was told no spoilers. I think speculating is different to spoilers though? I didn't click that Cain leaving was a spoiler really but suppose it is Smile

NuggetofPurestGreen · 18/01/2014 21:43

Yeah I'm confused now as to whether they are or not! Maybe we should say it at the start of the next thread if they are/aren't allowed?

I usually wouldn't post a spoiler as I'm not sure if anyones wants them but I would join in the conversation about spoilers if someone else posted them!

Also we've been talking about Rachel (actress) leaving haven't we? So that would have spoiled the outcome of that storyline if you hadn't known.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 18/01/2014 21:44

Oh sorry this is the new thread. Someone make a decision if we're allowed spoiler or not Grin

ChippingInWadesIn · 19/01/2014 14:04

Rachel leaving is a spoiler too... I didn't know. I was hoping she would cave and call Sam and they'd find a way out of it or Jay would find her and help her put Charity behind bars etc etc so now I know both Cain and Rachel are leaving, it spoils a large part of it for ages (given the way the storylines draggggggggggggggg on) :(

I hopestly don't mind either way - I enjoy a good chat about it (sad git that I am! LOL) but if you are all happy with that kind of 'spoiler' then I just wont join in, it's not a big deal - honestly, just decide what suits you all and let me know.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 19/01/2014 14:12

Sorry if I spoiled that for you Chipping I assumed you'd know if you were following the thread as it's been said a few times Blush. I agree with you there knowing that did spoil the end of that storyline but I don't really mind being spoiled always on digital spy

ChippingInWadesIn · 19/01/2014 14:53

Nugget - sorry, I didn't mean your post, I meant the references to it earlier on, on the thread :)

I do mind as I find it a bit painfully slow sometimes anyway, then knowing that 2 main storylines end due to actors leaving just seems to make it really really slow...... probably best I bow out of the thread now as I really don't want to spoil this thread for anyone. See you 'out & about' :)
