Right, I did watch it despite the bad reviews - quite enjoyed it, in a sort of 'have it on in the background while I sort my yarn' kind of way (rock'n'roll lifestyle here!).
I haven't seen P&P or read the book, which by the sounds of it was probably a good thing! But my questions are:
Why is Colonel Fitzwilliam called, well, Fitzwilliam? Was Darcy named after his family?? Or was there a name shortage back then?! 
Wouldn't the Darcy family have been titled to have a massive country pile like that??
Did we ever find out what sick bloke in the woods actually was suffering from? And when Lizzie did her (ridiculous and very overly dramatic) dash to the gallows, she referred to it as a 'confession'. But wasn't it an accident?!
Are Lydia and Mrs Bennett that utterly hideous in the book? If so, surely Mr B would have done a runner years ago.
Loved AMM's delivery of her lines though.
