I thought it was more likely that Laura was the granddaughter? I thought her dad looked a little like research man in exile? So Skype lady is mum of 3 to Oliver, Laura's dad and Viktoria??

Didn't Viktoria tell Bodil that she was head of company because Oliver was too weak and useless and the other sister was also not suitable, tho? Otherwise agree that Lawra's horrid dad seems more likely candidate.

Just have to say what a good actor the man who plays Jakob is. His reaction to Saga's bombshell about the 'problems in the relationship' was very well played and conveyed the shock and sadness very well. Somehow I don't think they are going to find a way to make it work, but I hope they do.

I hope it does. We both have rooms (a study each) into which nobody is allowed, for those very reasons. It's quite common for Aspies in relationships to have a seperate space so they have somewhere to be when their mind is running at super speed.

Who's been telling the baddie everytime Laura wakes up or remembers something. I don't think it's the Dad is it? He wouldn't want his daughter to be killed because I'm presuming Laura would've ended up on the operating table poisoned like the rest if the car hadn't been intercepted and he knew they tried to kill her before. Therefore if it's not him is it a police person? Also he told her he didn't phone the police which would've been weird if he wanted her just to keep quiet.

There must be some sort of connection with Laura's Dad and the pervbrother as they share the same creepy spy software. Maybe they are in an internet circle where they get their kicks from spying on members of their family in some sort of incest fetish.

I was wondering whether Viktoria was being poisoned as there are a lot of closeups of her taking her morphine shots (which could be tampered with) and the pervbrother is always feeding her. But then wouldn't she have an actual diagnosis of what's wrong.

Ah, poor Jakob! I think Saga loves him in her own way, and is trying to make it work (i.e. 'solving a relationship problem'). But oh dear... hope they can somehow make it work. Agree about the actor playing Jakob.

Saga's disconnect must be a lot to do with her upbringing too, if she was a victim of Munchausen. I guess she doesn't want to make herself vulnerable to trust/love (hence the talk of 'love' just being chemicals in the brain).

It's lovely how she is trusting Martin more and more though, and referring to his advice. Their relationship gets better all the time.

tobiasfunke Interesting! Yes it does look like Laura's dad is suspicious of the police and by not ringing them was trying to protect her - not trying to protect whoever shot her. It would make sense if someone is feeding information. My money's on Pernille!

Some inspired theories I have to say. I'm loving all the possibilities and while I can't wait to see it solved, I will be sad when the series is over!

Who were the children poisoned in Episode 2? Same symptoms as Snow White. They may have been Thai. They appeared almost subliminally in the resumé before Ep. 8, and so are, presumably relevant to the villains skulking in the east theme.

Far more importantly that all this, DM arrives on Sat afternoon for a week. That means she is going to be here for the finale and I don't even have any evenings to catch up. Not only has she not seen any of The Bridge but also SHE TALKS ALL THE WAY THROUGH PROGRAMMES. Would it be really rude to suggest she goes to bed at 9pm?!

PLUS, whenever a minor detail gets screen time it is natch major. So the conversation with the assistant about tap water at the conference. Which is now poisoned...

I was wondering whether it hadn't actually been Medisonus who had run the trials...whether some rogue outfit had done it and used the Medisonus name to make them look legit. Could have been a frame.

Also have we heard anything about the hostile takeover since Viktoria's meeting with that bloke in her home several episodes back? Was that relevant to plot or just to show that she's a bit of an evil corporate bitch?
