I also think drug co lady's brother is involved some how. He has the look of a cold killer. And the over HRT Bodil would just get off on the domination. And as part of a ploy to win over Mr birthday boob job (what a tosser!)

The thing with Bodil is that even if she got access to the drugs etc to kill these people she wouldn't have the expertise to administer them, surely?

I am wondering if Viktoria is a red herring and her DB is actually masterminding the evil plot with the help of Bodil.

Bodil thought she'd get rid of (1) Claudio who might blab in an autobiography and (2) her creepy BIL. Maybe even torment DSis who could be in a heap of trouble.

When Viktoria dies her brother will inherit the lot so am guessing Bodil hopes she will hook up with him.

IMO this whole thing is not about just eco-terrorism. I think there's something to do with testing risky chemo drugs and that sort of thing on volunteers, hence the skellingtons in the boat. I think Viktoria's drugs company may be implicated in all this and the eco activity may be some sort of smoke screen to cover all the activity up. Thoughts?

yep. I think if we are correct we should win the internet. Mind you making predictions in Episode 6 is always fraught with danger. But I do think that the eco warriors were being used by someone whose purpose is not necessarily what they thought it was. I wonder if we've met the person behind it all yet though?

oh and Claudio I think did work as a gigolo but he's primarily a blackmailer. Or was....

Ok having to delurk to share my Grand Theory. I think that drug-lady's brother (Oliver) is behind it all, he's obsessed with her and is removing all obstacles to her getting what she wants before she dies. The Eco-warriors are a red herring the whole point of the poisoning so was to kill 'Boris the Uni lecturer first choice for keynote speaker' I don't know if anyone spotted this but Rasmuss said they couldn't find a golden toad in the meat he was meant to have died from. So his murder was 'hidden' amongst the others to look like a random poisoning.
Drug-lady's brother has also bumped off Claudio so that Bodil is free to do his sister's memoirs and that rival in business person has now been beaten up in the car park. Have I missed anything?

Yes, spotted that. Boris's death was kind of the main point of all the poisonings, and was not carried out by the 4 ecoterrorists but by some shady OTHER.....
They have shelved that for a bit but it annoyed Saga when they could not find a toad amulet so there's no way she'll forget about it.
Is it the brother, yes? He certainly seems to annoy his sister and to be unhealthily obsessed with her. Would he have access to all the poisons and so on???

I'm so envious of all the people who can follow the plot, know each character's name, read the sub-titles AND mumsnet all at the same time.

I'd forgotten the original keynote speaker supposedly 'coincidentally' ate poisoned meat! Full marks...

I stumbled across the forst 4 episodes of The Bridge II on iplayer and watched them all yesterday afternoon. Couldn't take a break - they were gripping.
Then watched 2 episodes last night - fantastic!

I desperately regret not watching The Bridge I now
