PMcGM, can I pick your brains over your boyfriend's Big Finish adventures? Are the episodes in the alternate universe thingy (those are the episodes after "Zagreus", right?) essential or can they be skipped? I have seen divergent opinions online.

AnAdventureInCakeAndWine · 10/12/2013 19:43

(pun not actually intended, but I ought to pretend that it was)

PaulMcGannsMistress · 10/12/2013 20:30

I'm a completist so I'm going to say they probably should be enjoyed.

AnAdventureInCakeAndWine · 12/12/2013 13:30

Assorted discounts on Who merchandise (including 10% off Big Finish for those who are feeling tempted)

Which Doctor is shouting? I think it's Capaldi, friend thinks it's Smith and I need my hearing tested again...

TheDoctrineOfSanta · 12/12/2013 18:34

Definitely Smith!

SomethingkindaOod · 12/12/2013 18:44

Maybe I'm projecting my excitement onto it, I could have sworn it was a little bit Scottish Grin
I like The Doctor Who Hub on FB, I posted my Capaldi excitement on that thread too Blush

AnAdventureInCakeAndWine · 15/12/2013 21:38

Sergeant Benton (does he count) was reasonably good-looking if you can get past the 1970s hair.

letzygonsbezyons · 16/12/2013 17:02

used to think Benton looked like Prince Andrew! and thats not good!!!!

AnAdventureInCakeAndWine · 16/12/2013 17:54

My loins do remain remarkably unstirred (but then that goes for the rest of the male companions too), but objectively he's OK-looking. Although now you have mentioned the Prince Andrew thing I am never going to be able to unsee it.

letzygonsbezyons · 16/12/2013 18:06
