Just read the Guardian blog on these two episodes, a bit underwhelmed by them in some ways - but, as a lifelong veggie, was very impressed that they finally tackled the issue of danish pig farming. Compared to the UK, Denmark (surprisingly) has an awful record on animal welfare and factory farming, so think twice now before you buy your Danish bacon ( or 'rubbish' as Svend Age put it! I did find it odd that Birgitte seemd to have no insight into any of these goings on tho'....
Talking of goings on, I am just not getting Jeremy at all.... especially after Philip had so sweetly offered her up £150,000 DK to pay back her 'loan' from the bank -did she really think there would be no strings attached with all her political savvy? I know he is a b@?@*&d from his behaviour in the other series, but now they have both had a break with other people, I am still hopeful of a reconciliation!!
Lets hope this piggy episode is one marking the nail in the coffin of factory farming!
