It took me ages to get to sleep last night. I'm not particularly maudlin in general but that was shocking.

Predictions: Isabel and Mosley die.

Unity it is! Was she the one who tried to shoot herself and cocked it up? That sounds right for Edith.

They wouldn't be setting up for an abortion storyline, would they?

It's stretching belief a bit now....to have one daughter 'marrying beneath her' from such an aristocratic family would have been very unusual. To have all three (and the beloved niece) pursuing unsuitable affairs would have been highly irregular - and now Edith is unmarried and pregnant.... ;-(

Unity went off to Germany,had kinky sex with nazi officers , loved hitler, family claimed she was easily led, but basically she supported the Nazi and thought hitler simply wonderful. Diana Mitford was just as bad, whole family has issues.

And Decca Mitford became a communist and fought against Franco!
Interesting family.

And the youngest became the Duchess of Devonshire which she wouldn't have become had JFK's sister's husband not died (the heir to the title). They truly were one of those families that defined that era!

Oh no. Bloody monotone Mary in ruining this series for me. Would rather they'd killed her off than lovely Sybil. Downton has been rubbish this time around. We've spanned decades but mrs patmore, daisy and everyone else stay the same age.
