Are we still loving GBBO?? Who is your favourite to win? I change my mind every week, love Mel and Sue tho!!

Autocorrect put an apostrophe in Frances when I posted a while back, now that made my eyes itch and me .

Anyhow, it is going exactly as expected for me, Christine and Beca were definitely the weakest 2 of the final 5 IMO.

I think it is going to be Ruby, Kimberley then Frances but I WANT it to be the reverse order!

I am willing Frances on to get her flavours spot on in the final, the others can't match her in presentation so if she 'nails' the flavours, she will be unbeatable and be Queen!

It should be Kimberley - in fact if she doesn't I will never watch again - really talented and knowledgeable. If Ruby wins - cries of 'fix!' will ring everywhere. All that sulky ffs eye-rolling is getting on my nerves - prob lovely girl but really? Honestly? You're there because you're good love, they aren't asking you to do anything unreasonable at this level pet.

I have grown to like Frances, she annoyed me in the beginning. I don't mind who wins, they are all amazing and have the baking gift. Am very jealous!

Not sure why ruby is being touted as having talent - she is a mixture of good (aparently by fluke) and atrocious! She has coasted through because hollywood likes her. Kimberley is consistently good, but FrancEs ;) has that extra talent for presentation and creativity which kimberley lacks a little.

It should be between kim and frances and will be down to whether Frances gets the technical side right or not - end of!

Ruby's apparent lack of confidence is just annoying! Frances to win!

Whatever happened to the MN cookbook?

Another team Frances here. I loved Kimberley at the beginning but her smugness during the opera cake task literally made me want to throw the remote at the telly. Ruby has been giving our house the rage since episode one with her monotone whinging and ruddy eye rolling. I hoped for a little optimism the week with the new cat but it appeared not even a playful kitten could liven her up.

I started the series really liking Kimberly and disliking Ruby and Frances. Now I have swung completely the other way.

I do feel that Kimberly has probably been badly edited, but even in the off the cuff moments with Mel and Sue I think she comes across fairly annoyingly. There is no denying that she has been the most consistently good baker of the three that remain though. On that level she is probably in a similar position to Brendan last year.

What I initially thought was smugness in Frances I now think is probably just sheer goofy love of baking (and decorating!) combined with a slight awkwardness and odd demeanour. It's hard to judge her bakes though as they always look so amazing but the judges are always down on the taste, and we just have to take their word on that aspect!

I think Ruby is probably in a similar position as John was last year: she has been the most inconsistent but possibly has the most unusual flair of talent. I did feel that she probably should have gone over Becca last week really. But I kind of like her anyway and she has done very well more often than not.

If the editing is indicative of anything, it really seems like Kimberly can't possibly win, I really think they are trying to make us not like her. Ruby would be the obvious winner based on all that we have seen thus far, but I still think Frances could steal it. She's got a good story behind her.

Apparently Raymond Blanc has given away the name of the winner on Twitter so if you're a tweeter be careful if you want to avoid spoilers.

I haven't enjoyed this years as much as last.

Lots of people say Kimberley is smug but I don't think so - she's good and knows it - which does get people's backs up!

Some of the commentary on Ruby is just horrible - bitching about her looks and so on. I do find her somewhat irritating and wet-weekendy but I've warmed to her a bit.

Frances was annoying at first but I like her too, she seems very genuine.

In summarym whoever wins, I'll be happy. I think it will be Kimberley but Frances will suprise us. Ruby is very good but too inconsistent...however I said that about John last year and he won!

Why are so many people so anti-Ruby? I have a total girl crush on her. Think Kimberly deserves to win though....

Thanks for the Telegraph link Lizza. It's interesting that Kimberley was sitting tough professional exams during the filming, but we never got a mention of them, unlike Ruby's university exams

I think riverboat has made a good point about the editing - it does point to Kimberley being very good but being not positioned as a popular winner. I really like her (her canapés looked absolutely delicious last week) but I'm not convinced she's the chosen one. However, if we use Pop Idol the original series as an analogy, Ruby is the Gareth Gates of the narrative but who is Will Young?

I like all 3 finalists.

I hope it will be Kimberley, but if it is, it will be a bit of a Joanne moment from previous series where everyone is wondering where it came from :) because they've tried to edit the series to make it not too obvious

I don't mind too much who wins now. Would prefer it to be Frances if I had to choose because of a)all the fuss and media attention on Ruby and Kimberly either being like a smug head girl or being edited to look like one.

I'm delighted that Ruby gave Raymond Blanc what for after his sexist and sizeist tweet.
