Oh thank you. Can I convince someone to pay me to do this? I mean I can throw in the odd relevant comment if necessary like unforced errors, cross court volley, consistent serving etc, but I'm sure there's a market for the "oh poor love, he looks worried" type of comment too!

This is a good match - going with serve so far (relevant comment see?), 6-5 in first set to Stan.

Nadal's trainers are nice too - pale blue and white. Similar colour to Pot's earlier!

But his top has a pattern on the back that makes it look like he's been spattered with mud.

I have done bugger all this week today other than watch tennis and MN. Hope none of you mind my wittering on here, I realise it's probably very annoying for serious tennis fans. But I myself am a serious fan, just like to enjoy it as well as appreciate it.

Nadal just won first set tiebreak 12-10.

First set was good - took 73 minutes. But Nadal is running away with second set - it's 4-0 already.

Stan has definitely run out of steam, by the looks of the score line.

I'm enjoying your commentary. Since there's only you me and Raahh on this thread I think it will be fine. If any very serious tennis fans turn up we csn deal with it then.

Thank you both :) Not many things I'm good at, bar wittering and sleeping. Since I can't practice much of the latter, I'm apt to indulge in the former.

I was on the bus home from work at that point. You did make me laugh with your comment about only being able to tell which was Nadal by checking to see who had the racket.

Pot won first set 6-2. Just served a brill game to seal it.

It's very stressful watching when you have a particular favourite!

Am in gatwick. Have about 45 mins before we board. Bored stiff. Got on the train at 7.30 this morning.

Pale blue is obviously the colour - both sporting pale blue trainers, head and wristbands.

it's very hard to watch the scores but if Nadal is going to lose to anyone, I'm happy with it being Potato. Just hope he's well enough to then win the final.
