Ok, so I know I'm biased, but Raonic has just done one of those ( perfectly legal but Not Very Gentlemanly) hits straight at his opponent. Hmmph.

Am going for 2 weeks, Juan. My Dad lives there so I'm trying to make as much use of the free accommodation and his airmiles as possible. Hoping to do all the stuff I couldn't do when I was there in May/June because the riots kicked off.

Hoping it will still be warm and sunny so I can sit around by the pool a lot too.

I'd love to go to Istanbul. Was watching a documentary about the Ottomans the other night. It's a country with a fascinating history.

I've only been to holiday/touristy bits of Turkey. I saw a lot of turtles.

Sounds good Clay. Will your Dad spoil you a bit, or will it be the other way round?! I've been to Ephesus years ago, don't remember any turtles though!

Agree with you about Dimitrov Raahh, I really don't think he's going to live up to all those early expectations. He doesn't seem committed enough, and nowhere consistent enough. I do have bit of a soft spot for him though cos he looks like my Dd's boyfriend!

Have got the documentary saved on iplayer. It's on a very long list of things to watch. I love Istanbul, it's an amazing place to visit. Haven't done the touristy bits of the rest of Turkey yet. Might have to save that for another visit. Main aim this time is the Blue Mosque, the night time Bosphorous cruise I had to cancel last time and possibly getting a crown on my tooth done.

My Dad will spoil me a lot. It's his 60th while I'm there so I think it's supposed to be the other way round but I doubt he'll let me pay for anything however much I try.

Dimitrov's sort of doing the opposite of Dan Evans and getting less focused this year.

Juan's come up with the perfect solution though. Run an iron over it and it all disappears. . I think your DS is only going to be able to get away with that excuse once though.

Potato through this morning. There was lots of talk about him not being too well yesterday hence the reason for him pulling out of the doubles so I'm pleased he got through again today. I also read an interview where he said words to the effect of he was missing his mum but he was a big boy now and could cope! I just wanted to offer my services as a surrogate mum and give him a big, er, cuddle.

Poor Roger, wonder how hard he finds it to accept that he will no longer easily get through to semis and finals of tournaments. Ferrer must have the willpower and mental mindset of a giant - he just picks himself up and keeps at it.
