Accidentally filled up the last thread without realising.

Have the day off today so can sit and watch the tennis scores update.

We still have Tennis Tennis too.

OP posts:
ValaRaahh · 15/01/2014 21:34

I did the mental age test- I'm 41. It said I am 41.

(it's still Raahh, btw- name changed on another dodgy thread - very hard to explainGrin)

magimedi · 15/01/2014 22:22

I also don't think that Murray will make the final -somehow I think it's going to be Djok to win, yet again.

Tennis - in vain hope.

Should I go off to Chat & start a thread about nekkid young men - with Tennis ?

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 15/01/2014 22:40

How young is too young for a mental age? It said I'm 36. Although I'm actually only 31.

Raahh am I going to have to read the Doctors thread to indou t about Dogtanian and the 'muskahounds. (The theme tune to which I'm now going to be singing for the rest of the week Angry)

Tennis Morning all,

I was about to tell valaraahh off for poaching on raahh's name...

I knew farley was Farley, guessed. Did not know rafakingofclay was Clay though! Hi Clay!
Okay - now we are all acquainted and orderly if very confused by all the name changing. I am not very bright ladies - just so you know, I am prone to getting very confused very easily. That's how my offspring can run amock most of the time, they just confuse me and then leave me in a blinding tizzy. I am then powerless to have any control over anything. The absolute shits lovelies.

Missing Tennis today as college beckons - Thursdays are always long days and breaks are at a minimum. I have got to get going on my mammoth 60 treatment case study for reflex as well, its making me feel slightly sick as it happens - its a huge amount of work and tbh I am not entirely sure I know what I am doing in reflex just yet. I can not tell if somebody has a bad bladder from touching their feet - I am starting to feel slightly panicky. I have to corner my reflex tutor today and either bribe her to do this work for me or pay her off for a pass mark... I've got about 5.50 on me - latter will not work!
I really, really want to just stay home and watch the blue tennis court in the living room...
I tested 41 - I am 43. I think it was because I called the Ferrari driver a w**ker. I like that word, spelt it out in fridge magnets on elder offsprings fridge - then her partners mother visited and tut-tutted loudly Blush Should have tested at mental age for 10 year old...
Roll on 5pm today when I am home and Tennis is on.

threebats · 16/01/2014 07:34

Is Boris (sigh, love of my life) Djok's coach yet? Am I missing out on seeing him each time Djok plays? Cause if so, I will have to skip college....

JuanPotatoTwo · 16/01/2014 14:25

Bollocks. That's all I have to say. Bollocks.

Mama1980 · 16/01/2014 14:28

Just had the result beep through and thought of you juanpotato Hmm
Did anyone watch the Murray match? I saw some thought he looked very all over the place - great then not the next minute.

magimedi · 16/01/2014 14:37

Can't see the matches as don't have sky.

Am also very or EVEN MORE upset than Juan that El Potato lost. Who is Bautista Agut??

How they manage to play in that heat amazes me.

Starballbunny · 16/01/2014 14:45

I want to blow up fucking sky, I want tennis on free view

ValaRaahh · 16/01/2014 14:48
Sad

Potato Sad

magimedi · 16/01/2014 15:00

I would like to have all the TV there is & pay per view. I'd be quite happy with that.

How I would like to comfort potato. Wink

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 16/01/2014 15:52

I've just checked FB. I'm looking like this Shock at the moment.

JuanPotatoTwo · 16/01/2014 16:06

Oh I'm so sad. Much much sadder than magi That's silly isn't it? But I am. Bautista Agut is a Spaniard whose never beaten someone as highly ranked before. Poor Juan, it's like the US Open again. I only caught the last three games of the match and have to say old B-A was good. His match stats are impressive too.

JuanPotatoTwo · 16/01/2014 16:07

Thank you Mama. No didn't see Andy. I can't begin to imagine how they deal with the heat.

LetZygonsbeZygons · 16/01/2014 17:21

Jasmie Murray fainted or something with the heat. he was playing doubles.

Juan Sad . but I thought he was playing quite sluggish today.

Verdasco out too.

NewGirlInTown · 16/01/2014 18:38

Logged on to send you my commiserations, JuanPotato :-(
I didn't see the match but I wanted Delpo to reach his seeding and give Nadal a right good smacking! His draw is cupcake now.

Hope you are bearing up?

JuanPotatoTwo · 16/01/2014 23:24

Thank you NewGirl, I'm desolate :) And just to cheer myself up I went with ds2 to his school's sixth form open evening. Lucky me.

Ah well, you've got to learn to lose before you can win or some such bollocks.

Night all.

threebats · 17/01/2014 07:18

star If you can manage watching playback - Eurosport has it on all day - its better than nothing. Its free channel. I don't know if they have it on at night as well as I can't stay up at night to watch but check it out. If you have got Sky, you have got Eurosport.
Apologies if you already know this and they don't have it on at night.

Potato - my commiserations Juan & magi When I am a sports therapist I shall canvass for the job of Wimbledon on call therapist who has to hang around court side on the off-chance a hamstring gets pulled - I shall need two good helpers - one to carry my oil, the other to carry my towel (I am going to need my hands free to grab Boris as he walks past Grin ) you're both in!

ValaRaahh · 17/01/2014 08:42

I am currently refreshing my screen, willing Samantha Stosur to beat ivanovic. I have never liked her- but I'm not sure why!Grin

JuanPotatoTwo · 17/01/2014 16:40

Hi all, still sulking - good job Potato's a better loser than me!

Djok, Ferrer, Stan and Berdy all through.

Raahh, I don't mind ivanovic but prefer Stosur. threebats - I'm bloody holding you to that! Well the bit about me anyway. Sure no one will mind if you only need one helpful assistant ... :). And as a bribe, I'll help you trap Boris.

ValaRaahh · 17/01/2014 16:46

Juan- his post match interview was very generous, and didn't make any excuses, just praised his opponent. Nice chap.

ValaRaahh · 17/01/2014 16:48

and oh, i was in a deep decline for ages, last Wimbledon, when Nadal lost early. Fortunately, even if the tournament didn't end as I'd have liked, there were some great matches to cheer me up. The Potato/Djoko semi, probably the match of the year.

I'm still Stefan spotting on my Facebook. So, i hope Roger last a bit longerGrin

threebats · 17/01/2014 20:29

Sad my son has been bullied in college, he has Aspergers but is very bright, on Level 3 IT - he broke down after college today in tears and said he couldn't take any more. 2 kids have been calling him names, taking and hiding his stuff, smacking him around and drawing horrible pictures of him to stick up and about. Apparently for a while (I knew something was up he just wouldn't say what) but they ramped it up this week and he just broke down today.
It was 4.30 when he told me, as I got out of class, and all tutors had left for the weekend - we now have this hanging over us all weekend before I can try to sort it out Monday - he won't go back to college until it is.
Sorry for the moan - I have to be up-beat and positive and reassuring for him all weekend when I feel sick to my stomach inside. His sisters are out for blood - horrible mess.
I hope there is Tennis on this weekend so I can just watch because he won't leave my side at the moment - I can sit all Sat and Sun with him and just watch tennis...

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 17/01/2014 20:42

Sad for him threebats. That's awful. Have a very unmumsnetty hug from me. People can be such sometimes.

Good luck with trying to get something sorted. Hope you enjoy the tennis or can get out to do something he might enjoy enough to try and take his mind off it for a bit.

JuanPotatoTwo · 17/01/2014 21:04

threebats, I'm so sorry to hear that, what's wrong with some people? Your poor boy, he must be miserable. Can you email whoever you need to speak to - they might get it over the weekend and respond, save you waiting all weekend. Do you know the two kids involved? Arses.

Raahh thank you for understanding :)
