I know it's been shit for ages but its just dire atm. I'm a bit behind and stopped watching when bunhead Lauren was getting drunk. Switched back on and she's back from rehab. Was her rehab in the Maldives? I'm sick to the back teeth of her and joey. What a mockery they've made of teen drinking showing her recovered. She's a terrible actress.

Lucy is weird and for an eastender she's got a v posh accent. As has bobby. And Dennis. And Sharon.

And I really don't like how every victim of sexual abuse is portrayed as promiscuous. In one episode we see Kat dragging a guy into an alley for a quickie and Whitney getting into a car with strange men. Not every child victim is like kat and bloody Whitney. Utter tosh. I need another long break from it. I only came back to it cos corrie is terrible these days.

I'm pretty sure Nick isn't dead. I think he ran off last time when Dot found out he was trying to kill her or something. He left Dotty behind.

I seem to remember Nick dying in an explosion in the caff. Dotty was in there and someone rescued her but couldn't save Nick...... unless it was all a dream.... considering he's such an infamous character, no one can seem to remember if he's dead or not

I do get sick of how disposable relationships and marriages are in soaps. It's revert irritating that every time a couple hits a bump in the road one of them goes off shagging! Only Corrie's Roy and Hayley were really devoted and they bumped her off!

UsingMyRedPen, if I were an Eastenders character I would've had about 20 affairs by now, judging by how many bumps in the road DH and I have had in 7 years of marriage.

Really not liking the carters. It's too much too soon. Hate the gay story because it was done to death with syed and they make out its in the genes when they go on about how many gay people they have in their family. I don't like them.

I also hate shabnam. She's judgemental and nasty. The old shabnam was feisty and independent. I think because she wears a headscarf the writers feel she should be judgemental and dull. I have friends who wear hijab and they are über glam, independent and funny.

I hate the carol story. Exactly the same as Tanya. Burying her head in the sand, missing appointments. Everyone I know who waits for test results can't wait to know. In EE nobody ever wants their results. Lazy writing.

And because fucking trumpet girl Sonia is back I'm having a break from EE. She makes my eyeballs itch. Can someone please let me know when she's buggered off (again).

I've got the RAAAAGE! I'm not usually this over the top about a soap. I've caught it from Linda Carter! She's never out of pantomime mode! Has Kellie Bright just come off a long comedy stage run or something? The directors ought to tell her to tone it down - or write her out of the story pdq. I can't bear much more of her prancing! 'Prancing in Pink', heh - give her own show I won't watch it.

RedPen, Kat & Terry are an obvious match imo! I want Nikki to get off with David, too, then Carol & Masood can get on with their nice little romance.

There might be a few more story lines In different places as they are rebuilding the srt atm.

So now obviously Shirl is going to get back in contact with her son and he will move to Walford and have an incestous fling with Nancy, and Timothy West will end up pulling pints in the Vic and it will turn out he is an ex flame of Dot.

I think the Carters are great and I wasn't expecting to like them so quickly. Great to see Linda Henry being given something to do. She is amazing and apparently really nice in RL.

So glad Janine has gone by the way. Every scene she was in depressed me and made go and put the kettle on. I haven't missed her at all.
