Chatting to DH the other day and he asked if I fancied a drink. I said 'just the one.' Both of us looked at each other and said simultaneously, 'Just the one, Mrs Wembley' a line from On The Up. Started me thinking of old programmes that I'd like to see again...not necessarily for their quality, just for nostalgia. Anyone got any (that haventbeen on UKTV Gold Grin )

There was a series not too long ago called Rose and Malone with Sarah Lancashire and Phil Davies in. They played Case Workers on some kind of review board iirc. It was brilliant.

Not the nine o'clock news is being shown on either Dave or Gold I think at the moment. They started showing it again after Mel Smith died. It's disappointingly unfunny for the most part.

The Upper Hand.
Desmond's was great. The youngish bloke in that was in Star Trek Enterprise as the stiff upper lippy Englishman.
I'd love to see Grange Hill from the beginning. And Byker Grove!

I was thinking about 2.4 Children the other day - I used to laugh & cry in equal measure at that.

The high life - Scottish comedy with Alan Cumming in it

Cracker - probably the best programme ever

ER, Sopranos, all the channel 4 American dramas were great in 90s/early 00s. Shame it mostly goes to sky etc now.

I loved dogtanian when i was wee too and sadly will now be singing the tune all day!

Ever Decreasing Circles was my mums and my fave sitcom growing up, she has the box set on DVD and I bought her a rose called 'Sexy Rexy' for a recent birthday (die hard fans will know the reference). One of us will often say something and it'll start off a whole scene that we can both remember verbatim!

Drop the Dead Donkey is currently on my Amazon Wishlist, along with the TV adaptation of the first two Adrian Mole books. If they re-made those or adapted the other ones I would be a very happy bunny.

Also loved To The Manor Born when I was really tiny.

Drama - Dempsey and Makepeace, Spooks (but with decent writers and Lucas North returning from the dead Wink ), often think about Howard's Way but not entirely sure whether I'd want to sit through it again - a remake might be good though.
