Hurrah! No more college this week so its all the way.... Just as its all getting so interesting...

I would like to point out the following as pride is a terrible thing: My daughter scored the highest marks in Media GCSE in whole of UK and has had a letter of congratulations from the exam board. They couldn't score her higher than an A* but she was only 3 marks off a 100% total. They are translating her work (its in Welsh) and using it across UK as an example to students as to how coursework and exam work has to be done.
Waah! She is a total swot - love her to bits. Her GCSE results were phenomenal but this is like, woah, really??

For my part? My class cheated in sports day to win overall. And also I got caught cheating in the English test we all have to do - I was helping another student along with her answers... Got shown the door! I passed though as did she so all is well!

I think wawrinka is going to give murray more trouble than djok will. If murray can get past him I'm confident he will make the final (and I think his head to head against nadal on hard courts is 6-5 to rafa so they are pretty evenly matched).

mama- VAMOS indeed. . I think Djoko has the edge over Murray at the moment. But Murray has to get past Stan first, and you never know when an upset might happen. Gasquet could surprise us, - but I think Nadal is looking too strong for him to have an impact.

I dont feel very well at all today, really dizzy and sick. I'm not sure what it is, but it could just be exhaustion- dd2 really no sleeping well,and the combination of that and being woken early when dh gets up is taking it's toll, i think.

That straight sets Wimbledon defeat must rankle with djok though. Soon we will see....

I would give the semi to djokovic also at the moment, if they both make it, don't think Murray has been consistent enough.

I have to do a lot of catching up on who is playing who now as have been really flat out so far this week and so tired getting used to routine. Cup of coffee now I have picked up the school uniform (shamefully late) and off to look it all up I go...

Poor you Raahh, sleep deprivation is just the worst thing. Maybe your Dh could take over at the weekend so you can catch up. It's in his interests to do so cos if you flake out with exhaustion he'll have to shell out for childcare or else take time out and do it himself!

Congratulations to your Dd sieze, that's brilliant. Does she want to eventually work in the media? My dd has gone to Bestival on the Isle of Wight until Monday - her rucksack was bigger than her and she had to lean forward when wearing it or else she was in danger of falling over backwards! Was funny to see.

everyone. I'm feeling much better, had a bit of a sleep when dd2 had a rare nap.DD2 (tmi alert) has been very constipated and finally relieved herself. It was a monster. I'm hoping she will sleep better tonight.

Dh does a lot, but his shifts are crappy at the moment, and like every body else (except me!) he's a very heavy sleeper. I wake at the slightest sniffle

Don't know if everyone knows this already but if you download the us open tennis app you can listen to live radio for anyone who can't watch. Just click on menu and select the radio broadcast. Doubles on at the minute to be followed by Murray.
