I like reading the Guardian blog as that at least tells me what has happened in the episode. Sometimes I've been known to watch it again on 4+1 to try and work it out.

I think Quinn is a good man and he wants to save Carrie. But she is locked a very dysfunctional relationship with Saul and the CIA , with no self esteem and a belief that saving the world is her life. She is not save able. I suspect the word I mean is salvageable but that makes her sound like a ship.

AND SAUL IS GOOD

There was such an edge to Saul's "she's always been on Her own". Did it mean "she thinks I have always been there for her but I have not " and he is indeed using her?

He has 2 weeks to sort it all out and dash Lockhart's confirmation, or else take dastardly control of the free world.....

Quinn certainly has way more than a respectful admiration for Carrie.

I think the child is Carrie. The way Carrie was lying and the camera angle right before the Iranians came to get her was identical to the wee girl.

I think if it wasn't for those pesky Iranians Quinn would have asked for a wee night cap got past the 'un' in requited lurve. His 'admiration'/fascination with Carrie will be his undoing. How can he be so invisible stalking Carrie to others who are stalking Carrie too? He was 100 yards away, single bloke sitting in his car with an ear piece and screen monitor. How would that not be noticed?

DH's view is that Carrie was stripped as they could no longer get past her bootleg trousers crime against fashion.

Quinn so obs wants her........I got bored with it last series but Quinn has got me back into it. I have no idea what is going on though!

I think Quinn would give his life to protect her but I do not get that feeling about Saul.

I wouldn't trust Saul as far as I could throw him.
