Well, when I say almost what I mean is the 29th September in the US, and I think we were a week behind last series so early October - roll on the Autumn.

. One of the comments says that at the end Brodie says in Arabic "I am a muslim lost in this world..help me come clean again".

I CANNOT wait. I've missed Carrie so much. And Saul. Anyone sad enough to join me in the anticipation?

Creepy doc v creepy. But surely Brody has seen it all before if he was captured/tortured for what 8 years in Iraq?

nomorecrumbs · 21/10/2013 12:45

His hoody and walk are very Eminem! I knew he reminded me of someone!

scattercushion · 21/10/2013 12:59

creepy doc reminded me of John Malkovich a lot - the drawly, langorous way of talking, particularly.

valiumredhead · 21/10/2013 14:37

Yes me too scatter.

cocoleBOO · 21/10/2013 17:33

Yes! John Malkovich, thats it. Thank you !

I'm still loving it Grin.

Ledkr · 21/10/2013 18:53

My ds has seen next weeks episode and felt the need to ring me twice to tell me how shocked I will be by it.
May be worth sticking with then.

TensionSquealsGhoulsHeels · 21/10/2013 18:58

Ooh that sounds Shock I'm going out on a limb here - Saul does something even more out of character than shout at a newbie.

GypsyFloss · 21/10/2013 20:32

I have read the excellent blog that BOF recommended and it is one step ahead. Therefore I now know what'll happen next ...

Thewalkingdeadkr · 21/10/2013 21:35

And is ds overreacting then candy

difficultpickle · 21/10/2013 21:37

That Guardian blog is absolutely spot on. It has to majorly improve next week or else I'm out

GypsyFloss · 21/10/2013 21:37

Ha ha we named changed you. Talk about slip of the tongue, how weird.

SmellyFartado · 21/10/2013 21:55

I am fecking loving this series although last night was a bit bleak. Not sure who the actor was playing the doctor but he was just amazing - totally understated yet creepy as they come. I couldn't even watch him as the episode progressed.

Have no idea who hospital visitor was, whether he was a plant, or was it a test, or was he....feck knows.

Where's Quinn anyway

I do like that Guardian blog and "Doctor Recap" :o.

There are some good points in the comments section - including the fact someone would have known why the coppers were going to the Mosque, and so news of Brody's whereabouts will soon be more widely known, presumably. I am assuming a level of, you know, plot cohesion here.

GypsyFloss · 21/10/2013 22:04

And I answered ...even weirder :)

There's a link on the first or second page upthread .It's a website that reviews lots of stuff so you have to use their search bar to find it and each episode It is very well written but definitely don't read it if you don't want spoilers!

difficultpickle · 21/10/2013 22:06

Here's the blog BOF linked. This is episode 3 but you can click through to episode 4 if you want. I liked the interview with Damian Lewis that it linked to.

GypsyFloss · 21/10/2013 22:06

I'm still not feeling the love but will stick it out.

Nancy66 · 22/10/2013 09:45

Damian Lewis' hyperventilating acting is very poor!

diddl · 22/10/2013 09:51

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I've preferred the Dana eps to this!

I'm quite interested in how it affected the family & how they are getting through it.

Carrie absolutely pisses me off now!

comeonbishbosh · 22/10/2013 11:26

I think you're all missing the next obvious plot development, that the kind nurse at mental institution will turn out to be married to spider tattoo gangman. Whose offspring are Esme, Leo (Dana's squeeze) and ms headscarf wearing banking analyst. They're all working together for some purpose directed by ...Mrs Saul.

Ta Da!

HoldMeCloserTonyDanza · 22/10/2013 11:31

Another mildly Islamophobic out of character moment - why on EARTH would Brody assume that the imam would help him?! You are the worlds most wanted terrorist, Brody! Why would a random imam help you?! It would be one thing if the mosque had some connection with the terrorist chap Quinn shot in Ep 1 in Caracas but it seems it didn't (and Brody certainly didn't know if it did).

Other than that I quite enjoyed it, especially the bit where Carrie realised the lawyer chap was trying to recruit her.

HoldMeCloserTonyDanza · 22/10/2013 13:44

Saying that, DH has just pointed out that Brody might have been hoping not to be recognised. Despite being the world's most notorious ginger Muslim.
