Well, when I say almost what I mean is the 29th September in the US, and I think we were a week behind last series so early October - roll on the Autumn.

. One of the comments says that at the end Brodie says in Arabic "I am a muslim lost in this world..help me come clean again".

I CANNOT wait. I've missed Carrie so much. And Saul. Anyone sad enough to join me in the anticipation?

Yes, a dark ops good guy.

I think Mrs Saul is a bit shady.

difficultpickle · 13/10/2013 22:02

I wonder if Brody will put in an appearance next week?

I still find it hard to watch manic Carrie and not think of the SNL sketch with Anne Hathaway.

GypsyFloss · 13/10/2013 22:03

I thought Saul was very creepy there at the end. Sorry my arse. He has her exactly where he needs her to be.

I also thought Dana did well trying to explain herself to her mother. I think her lack of boots have liberated her. Now if she could only stop that lip chewing things she does. Grin

guineapiglet · 13/10/2013 22:07

This has made me feel tense and irritated...fed up of carrie's angst andthe treatment of her in hospital it is like a rerun of series 2...Also Danas handringing and Jess' tears.... I expected more development and complexity. Still no Brody...

Lets hope Quinn does wipe the smirk off condescending banker; he now seems to be the only one with credibilty.

cocoleBOO · 13/10/2013 22:07

Quinn isn't loking so ferret like to me this time, he's growing on me.

Saul. Is. Baaaaad.

Hassled · 13/10/2013 22:09

Oh now I'm not seeing rat-features at all in Quinn. He's sounding increasingly like John Wayne though. There will be some shootout with the Sheriff soon.

More brilliant acting - Claire Danes is a given (I re-watched Romeo and Juliet recently and blimey she was shit in that), but Dana was especially good.

Saul has a master plan. It's a plan so cunning that somehow Carrie has to go through this for it to work, and when she realises she'll forgive him everything. I still have Faith in Saul.

cocoleBOO · 13/10/2013 22:09

I wish Clare Danes would go brunette, the blonde does nothing for her

cocoleBOO · 13/10/2013 22:10

How old is Dana supposed to be? It was most disconcerting seeing her wrapped in a sheet when she looks around 12 years old.

Hassled · 13/10/2013 22:13

16/17 I'd say? There are times she looks very young, but then she can get "sulky older teenager" off pat.

OP posts:
kansasmum · 13/10/2013 22:15

Ok I must be naive as I can't see Saul as a baddy! Perhaps I don't want to though!!

Have to say am bit disappointed so far with this series- too slow to get going. My friends in US assure me Brody is back soon!

SinisterSal · 13/10/2013 22:15

Bloody Dana and that teen angst and boyfriends etc. minimising out of grumpiness
I don't want to watch a teen feel sorry for themselves I want the CIA and intrigue

Hassled · 13/10/2013 22:17

They are rather over-dwelling on the Dana-angst thing, aren't they? Is it because Dana's angst will lead her to conversion and some sort of future involvement? And where is Mike?

OP posts:
difficultpickle · 13/10/2013 22:21

Sal that's what I think. Not interested in her on her own or with teenage boyfriend. I think we are only a week behind the US series which must mean Brody is back next week.

difficultpickle · 13/10/2013 22:23

When she was looking up at the window I thought for a second she was outside Mike's house.

ImperialBlether · 13/10/2013 22:26

What's happened to Mike?

GypsyFloss · 13/10/2013 22:27

I hope she does have a conversion Hassled...that'll piss her mother off no end :)

I'm a bit underwhelmed now. I'm bored of Carrie, Saul is playing a game so obtuse I can't figure it out and I miss the ginger one . I watched tonight and surfed the net at the same time which is a not a good sign :(

GypsyFloss · 13/10/2013 22:30

You know the missing money that Saul wants the new girl to look into but keep quiet about? I wonder if it is being channelled via Mrs Saul's work back in wherever she disappeared to?

Lighthousekeeping · 13/10/2013 22:39

I miss 24Sad

Hassled · 13/10/2013 22:43

Gypsy - top work. Mrs Saul hasn't been brought back just so we can see her lovely kitchen - there's a reason.

OP posts:
coffeeinbed · 13/10/2013 22:46

That kitchen was lovely though....

GypsyFloss · 13/10/2013 22:57

I shall add a picture of Mrs Saul and her lovely kitchen to my wall a la Carrie.

As a side note my DH has grown a very Saul like beard, complete with white/grey bits. Most disconcerting it is too Grin

Cooroo · 13/10/2013 22:59

Saul was unforgivably rude to the new woman. And I want to slap Mrs Brody for her appalling treatment of Dana. Listen to her. Hug her. Aargh.

GypsyFloss · 13/10/2013 23:05

That was the rudest we have ever seen him I think. I felt like it had been doe to silence us Saul doubters . So I think it's a double bluff!

valiumredhead · 13/10/2013 23:40

Please, what happened right at the end when Saul visited Carrie? She was struggling to speak and my bloody sky box cut out AGAIN!

AnyFucker · 13/10/2013 23:46

Carrie was all muffled around the gob because she has been injected with extra strong meds

And the beardy one (Saul) was saying "I am so sorry, Carrie" whilst getting very in her face

Carrie did a strangled "fuck you Saul" and turned her head away. The End.
