Is there a general Emmerdale thread?

I've found a couple of threads about particular characters but was wondering if there was one just for general observations and if we could have a hands up to see if anyone else cried at Brenda's hair thing. I thought all those tears and smiles looked real

Do I need to get a life? Blush

Ash works on the farm, David has a proper shop and at least they own their own washing machines (looking at you enders which I actually can't bare to watch any more ) I assume the customers are ramblers tourists and lost people Grin

Just caught up with the last 2 episodes, aaw Nikill finally got it together and made a different face :) and no Rhona the moaner which made a nice change :)

We've had a bit of respite this week I agree Everything what with Nikhill coming round a bit, Katie's doing a runner and no flipping moaning Laurel/Rhona and Vanessa. It's been far less irritating.

Just caught up with tonight's on iplayer. Good grief. I'm an emotional wreckage. Begging, Chas saw Cameron through the windows at Debbie's just before the funeral. She asked him where he'd been and he said he was changing the barrels in the pub. That's when she had an epiphany. Think she saw the way he was looking at Debbie. I was a bit teary-eyed at Nikhill and Brenda. And for Chas when she said she had hated Gennie before she died and that she'd been right all along etc. Some really good acting.

I still can't quite work out Steve's gameplan. Thought he wanted to screw Declan when he typed the extra number into the bank account info but then saved Nicola's bacon. So it looks for the time being that it's more Nicola he's after?

Brenda's character has changed quite a bit, don't you think? She used to be a bit irritating and dosy. She's alright now.

I really like Chas's dignity, not lowering herself to drippy Debbie's level. There's going to be tears before bedtime when Nikhil finally tells everyone he's off with the baby!

Cried at the funeral when I was catching up yesterday morning, but it had been a stressful week...
I really hope chas and charity will be mates again.

Here I've somehow missed the dead body on Declan's land storyline even though watch Emmerdale a lot. Obviously I just zone out whenever Katie and Declan and Judy from Corrie are onscreen cos they're so annoying. Can someone summarise for me please??! Also is it Alex's body or unrelated to that storyline?

I thought the funeral was brilliantly done. DH thought Moira's cleavage was equally fabulous.

Chas and Cain were great. As said above no Rhona/Vanessa to spoil the episode. Emmerdale is definitely the best soap at the moment.

Yep it's Alex body, Cameron had to move him when the digging started for the festival, not sure he did move him though, I'm a bit vague on that one, sometimes with Cameron everything becomes a blur because he has the same storyline over and over again, murder, affair, murder, affair...and where is the damn Dictaphone and why didn't Cameron die when Cain hit him with the hammer!!
