Is there a general Emmerdale thread?

I've found a couple of threads about particular characters but was wondering if there was one just for general observations and if we could have a hands up to see if anyone else cried at Brenda's hair thing. I thought all those tears and smiles looked real

Do I need to get a life? Blush

Oh no - more implausible rubbish tonight.

First the silly vicars storyline

Then the Bartons' relatives rocking up unannounced with a lorryload of cows

The ongoing David/Priya nonsense

I used to like this programme. Now it gets worse with every episode

You're quite right, BabyMummy - what are they doing putting these poor cows in a field? They should be in a barn this time of year. Xmas Wink

The bartons thing is ridiculous. As if you would just rock up to your estranged dead brother's wife's with your entire farm in a lorry and be welcomed with open arms. It's well seen Cain's not there! He'd be having none of that malarkey Grin

Ellenora have a wonderful time in NY. Hope you have safe and happy travels. By the time you get home I should imagine over in The Dales, there'll have been at least one person arrested, a massive wedding drama, a relationship break up and Declan will have been Sectioned. So business as usual really.

Happy Christmas to everyone on here as well. Xmas Smile

And from me. Xmas Smile

Safe travels and have a lovely time, Ellenora.

Are you all thinking what I'm thinking, about what Charity's thinking?? Xmas Wink

You've all gone awfy quiet or am I the only one still watching?

That Charity's unbelievable. If I was Declan I'd give myself up just to stop her nip, nip, nipping all the time. She could get a job in a pizza shop grating the cheese with that voice of hers.

I watched the Christmas Day episode (I've not seen Emmerdale for aaaaaaaaaages )

The scene with Aleesha's hair (being burned/snapped off with the hair tongs.......) - we had the same with Tricia when she married Marlon.

how many hair disasters can one tiny village have?
And the new female vicar Hmm

I'm still watching, I'm just a slack poster. Wondering what Cain has planned

Yup, I've been watching. Bloody Charity. To be prepared to sacrifice poor Sam just to get revenge on Jai. And Bloody Declan. Charity and he should get together they're that well suited. There are so many increasingly loathsome characters.

Rubber I wonder if Cain's testing Moira because he thinks John's brother is a bit of a threat to him, in the love stakes. I might be wrong though because I'm usually doing other things when it's on so tend to miss what might be A Very Important Scene it worries me not, it's a soap, they'll tell me tomorrow what I missed today Wink.

I don't think he is going to take her out, maybe he is planning on cooking for her at home as he said she could wear her overalls if she wanted. Wish Charlie and his boys would bog off though.

Charity and Declan deserves each other - loathsome pair. Surely they can't get away with framing poor Sam.

As for Charlie from Corrie and his boys - wish they'd go back where they came from. If they're meant to be eye candy, they've failed miserably.

I had a nightmare about bloody Cain last night, he got in my car and was trying to steal it from me. I drove to a farm so a big burly farmer would know, when I gave him a secret look, to whack Cain with a chain saw and help me escape.

Just so you know, I am not one of the Cain fans so there was absolutely no pleasure in said dream. Even the BB Farmer was butt ugly. Sad
