I usually like Nick and Margaret so, I'm switching this on with trepidation.

Poor - I agree

I am totally fed up with being patronised by the BBC

:) at nick and Margaret's convo. ( not that we should pit pensioners against the unemployed!)

A year ago or so, I barely knew that we had food banks in the UK, probably naively. I thought it was a US thing.

And the government won't touch pensioners because they vote

I was thinking "Get a whole chicken, and it will last 2 meals" (If you're stingy)

Why isn't there someone following a pensioner living in one room because they can't afford to heat the whole bungalow?

TattooEnvy · 11/07/2013 21:39

What a big big mess it all is, shocked that over half goes on pensioners and unemployed only makes up 10%. Going to switch off, it's making me angry!

I think that the increased cost of food is something that is just not being spoken about so this and the GBM programmes at least do that.

Report
Chubfuddler · 11/07/2013 21:41

Liam is a bit of a prat.

The disability benefit thing is a bit of a drip feed.

Nick and Margaret seem sensible enough.

And that bloke seemed a little bit swayed looking at the other guy's incoming and outgoings sheet.

Report
breatheslowly · 11/07/2013 21:42

I'm shocked by how much food has shot up by.

Turn off the BBC network and plough the money into helping people, through benefits, training, opening up Re-employ throughout the county again.

Fucking hell, I need to turn this absolute fucking crap off.

Report
Chubfuddler · 11/07/2013 21:44

Oh.

So Liam perhaps not so much of a prat.

It's massively drip feeding.
