I am so excited!

DH takes over all catering for this fortnight (he does it at other times too) so I can plump my cushions, grab the handchange & get watching.

I'd like to be saying who I was putting my money on to win - but I really can't decide between Rafa, Federer Djokovitch & Murray.

I'd just say that it will be one of them and, sadly, I'd put Andy in last place.

no- it bugs me too about Serena with her neon headband and pants. Since the court is grass, it's not like the gold colouring on Fed's soles could mark it.

do you think the covering up of the gold is the reason for Feds current slump?

I love watching Roger under pressure, under that perfect gentleman veneer there's that absolute steeliness that comes from being at the top so long. I don't like to see him struggle though, he better pull through this.

actually glaikit- you've made me think, saying orange.I think I heard someone say that that the orange on his soles, is the same as the orange of the Nike flash on his shirt/headband was one bit of sponsorship/advertising too far.

Stakhovsky is playing well, but this Federer is not the same player that was on court on Monday.

Today has seen the return of the serve /volleyer- I like it.
