Just caught up with three episodes. On Wednesday's, when Chris and Amber were chatting outside the coffee shop/Lassiters, an extra walked past, who looked suspiciously like Scotty...

Rebecca Emmaloglou's acting is bizarre - very forced and faux enthusiastic.

And my favourite bit this week was when the magical new room appeared off paul's dining room. They rushed towards a door in the dining room that's never existed before. They've also never ever mentioned having a summer room. And from the bavk garden, I cant work out where it is in the house. From the front of the house there's no suggestion that there's a room jutting into the back garden...

I've been catching up today and I've had to tie my hair back to make a stand over all the frikkin over the shoulder/boobs hair owing on. It's bloody hot there people. You should have frizzed by now. And don't get me started on Amber's parting.

I think Brennan is quite nice to look at, even though I never thought that before.

It's terrible discrimination on the writers part against smaller family units. They declared recently they would be getting back to big family groups in the houses on the street and then they kicked Lucas and Vanessa with their one child off, then Paul since he's lost all his children/neices and next I think Ajay and Rani are being written out altogether. Although Thank God for that if we can stop with the horror of that play and the atrocious love triangle...

Ooh are rani and AJ leaving?? Eeeeexcellent. I'm seeing rani hopping into bed with bailey, getting pregnant and then having to leave because she won't get rid of the baby and she doesn't want to hurt Callum. Perfect.

If I started watching from the beginning, I'd never get anything done!!
I'm loving the sudden appearance of Paul's back garden, and extra rooms/space. Amazing what a lick of paint can do!

Are all the cast's contracts up for renewal soon? There seems to be a sudden surge in terribly forced overacting recently....

I watch it on my nexus with earphones plugged in while pretending to do doing one handed housework.

Paul did have a back garden briefly when AJ and Priya moved in as there was a fence/boundary dispute which Paul had to pay to put right. Anther neighbours classic moment!

Could Lou's back injury be the path to the golden years romance with Sheila another poster was hoping for?!

Why would anyone choose Bratboy Mason over the super fit super competent Brennan? I mean, REALLY??!!

Embroidered neither of them TOTALLY do it for me, but I agree. I was almost shouting at the TV "He IS just a child!! Listen to Mark - he's right!!"

Brennan is getting yummier by the day, I don't want him to leave again. I think it's because he has a touch of Yohan Cabaye about him. But yeah, he's the only bit I'm really enjoying just now and even that's for the wrong reasons! Despite all the eclipse 'action' I think it's going through a bit if a dull phase at the moment.

Brennan is scrummy! So so much better than Mason. How old is Kate anyway?

This is just yet another reason to hate Kate. She is so stupid she can't even see which man is the right one between a child-criminal and a hunky man.

Agree it is going through a dull phase. And Brad's wife is very strange. Her facial expressions don't match what she is saying.

Ugh, Terese is AWFUL!! I was looking forward to her starting - I loved her in H&A. But her extreme overacting is just bizarre.

I think part of my problem is that I just don't believe Brad and Lauren are Brad and Lauren. They are nothing like how I think they'd have grown up. And it's so focused on them right now (apart from stupid annoying Kate and stupid annoying Rani) I'm just feeling meh about it all.

How old, exactly, is Kate? I'm 25 and I don't think she can be much younger than me. I would feel extremely odd, being with an 18 year old.

yes old Brad was definitely a bit dim. the new one is so up himself. He's not that good looking. I would rather the sketch book contained a picture of the old Brad. also are Lauren's family moving, they have only just got here.

Why would Paul do all those renovations and not charge rent. The house looked ok before and it does seem to have extra rooms.

i hate the way the characters are either career women or work at the coffee shop. There is no inbetween. Therese seems quite selfish and why can't the son help out in the kitchen. Amber is so pushy isn't she

According to The Perfect Blend website Kate was born in 1992 so that makes her 21?

She arrived in 2009 and was in year 12 so that's about 17 if its similar to our year 12 so that would work out too.

I've been sucked back in after a year or two of no neighbours (I blame this thread!!). I'm fast fwding lots of the dull new people but what is really confusing me is all the new furniture and kitchens! The hospital, however, still features the one same room / waiting area!

Did they all just change over night and none of the characters mention it or have there been lots of eps with people looking at colour swatches and arguing about sofas?

Which house is Brad in? Which house is Lauren in? Where did Toadie's green fireplace come from, and how come we can now see the kitchen from his living room, I'm sure it used to be down a corridor? Yet to see an ep with Paul's house in, doubtless I'll be even more confused then!

Paul's house is now brad's house and has grown a room. Don't think we've seen Paul's new place yet.

Oh, that is confusing! Where has Paul gone and why? Did he choose the nasty white kitchen units? It was all dark and tacky cool before. Do we know which bit of the house the new room (the one with the sliding glass doors I guess?) is stuck on to? The garden looks a totally different size to the front of the house!
