But MAYOR OF ERINSBOROUGH!!!! As always, Neighbours comes up trumps with inventing a completely unrealistic scenario/job for the purposes of an exciting new story. However I do have to say I'm delighted Paul has a storyline again. Is it connected to the brief return of Rebecca? ?

They are doing one of those annoying things with the gem storyline when they leave a storyline hanging and all the characters connected with it just disappear for days at a time.

Why is Amber dressed in revealing clothes wearing loads of make up to be a meter maid? Is it to start a josh is a control freak storyline?

There is NO way that is a twenty-generations-old ring - it is a waaaay too modern design!

I know Gem is creepy and her attire isn't quite appropriate for a teacher but I'm loving her silver trousers.

They obviously needed a new photographer in the show now Lucas the photographer turned mechanic has gone.

Didn't the couple pay for a professional photographer as part of their package? What would the hotel have done if they hadn't conveniently discovered Amber was a talented photographer on the day of the wedding?

is Amber any good? She seemed to take the same photo of the bride over and over cropping off the top of her head everytime?
Then 2 photos of couple, then turned back to flick through photos, had fight with boyfriend, more flicking and showing to therese whilst the couple are just standing there for 5 mins like a couple of lemons.

where are all the other guests at the wedding , is it too low budget for extras . lauren acts like a mother from the 1950s towards Amber

Thank god they also can't speak english, very unprofessional for paul to have a go in front of them.

I do love Neighbours. They spend weeks filling episodes with irrelevant nonsense, then Amber becomes a professional photographer within 11 minutes

I love it too. I gave up watching it for ages, now I hate to miss it. Pure escapism.

Particularly intrigued about Gem. I would have thought she would have had a run in with Sheila by now particularly if Gem is spoiling Kyle and Georgia's relationship. After all he is her precious grandson.

I cringed the other day when he stripped off in front of her to go in the Jacuzzi.

does anyone else think that Gem sounds like Felicity Kendal when she was Barbara in the good life with the little girl voice.

Toadie is catching on to Gem.

I predict she will kill him in his sleep.

Lucas and Vanessa saw a house in the countryside that they liked the look of (online).

So they bought it, told everyone, packed, Lucas hired out the garage, they attended their goodbye party thrown by Toadie and Sonya, and departed.

All in a day.

Blink and you missed it.

I miss Lucas though.

Yes Lucas was alright but Vanessa was v annoying with her bloody cupcakes all the time! Weren't they supposed to be having another baby as well? Maybe that'll be Toady's panto excuse.

I do confess to liking the Gem storyline though - can't predict how she's going to be rumbled or what's really going on inside her head. I think Susan may also be cottoning on to her.

Am pissed off though that we're undoubtedly going to be subjected to dreary old Kate wrestling with her feelings re: Kyle. Get over it woman!

It is completely unrealistic (yes, yes, this is Neighbours, so realism is not high on the list of adjectives that spring to mind), to think that Therese would hire a school girl to do those wedding photos, on the basis of a few snaps on a phone. Or that a professional photographer would happily hand over all his expensive kit to a schoolgirl he doesn't know. Or that she would know how to use all said expensive kit.

And the photos looked crap - I would NOT be impressed, if that is what I got in my expensive wedding package.
