Just caught up with three episodes. On Wednesday's, when Chris and Amber were chatting outside the coffee shop/Lassiters, an extra walked past, who looked suspiciously like Scotty...

Therese Willis was Sophie in H&A.

I was hoping original Declan might come back with Rebecca, as the actor had to leave the army due to injury. But he's apparently studying nursing now.

In defence of Gem she's the only person in Erinsborough who actually perceives that Kate is an instantly dislikeable character. I find her vendetta entertaining. She has potential to be very "Single White Female" over Georgia.

decaffwithcream · 16/11/2013 23:17

Have just seen what Katz is referring to, about which of the characters is leaving. Excellent news.

Katz · 17/11/2013 12:23

decaff - great isn't it!

onedev · 17/11/2013 17:25

Can you pm me as I need to know!!

decaffwithcream · 17/11/2013 19:26

It's like an early Christmas present Katz.

onedev · 17/11/2013 20:19

Thanks guys!

Katz · 17/11/2013 21:26

Sadly I don't think it'll be before Christmas but at least it's coming!

skillsandtea · 20/11/2013 15:13

Matt is just a dreary man. For someone who in theory should be quite attractive - tall, good looking, etc., he's actually a real turn off. On the other hand I'm starting to quite fancy Brad even though when he first came in I didn't think much at all. Are he and Lauren really going to have an affair or is that just what bring led to think?

skillsandtea · 20/11/2013 15:13

anonacfr · 20/11/2013 16:11

I stopped watching Neighbours but would love a PM to find out who goes. If it is who I hope it is I might give it another go!

onedev · 20/11/2013 18:31

Totally agree skills!

decaffwithcream · 21/11/2013 19:41

While tuning out one of Matt's tedious speeches the other day, I was thinking about how he had definately been hired for his looks. His looks fail to excite me though as the character has had all charisma surgically removed. It's a waste.

decaffwithcream · 21/11/2013 19:55

Bizarrely, Lucy Robinson is coming back, again. As is Mark Brennan. Both next year. Did they just bring them back earlier to remind us they existed?

alemci · 21/11/2013 20:17

also the clichés about therese being a career woman and Lauren being a sahm even though she owns a business. no one ever notices Susan has a career. mind you she seems not to snowed under being school principalGrin

tummybummer · 22/11/2013 14:31

Fairly certain that Mason Turner and Imogen Willis are brother and sister.

decaffwithcream · 22/11/2013 18:29

That would explain the neverending lead up to their relationship.

Kym Valentine/ Libby has just settled her lawsuit against Neighbours. She was seeking lost wages and to be rehired. So it's unknown whether she got that part of her claim granted.

Her alternative claim was that she be rehired as another character with the same status of Libby - that would be very strange to watch.

onedev · 22/11/2013 19:57

What's that about decaff? I didn't know there was a lawsuit going on - why??

tummybummer · 22/11/2013 20:37

Yeah and we've already been told that Lauren and Matt broke up for a while after they got together. She's kept a sketch of Brad... blah blah blah. Plus she reacted really weirdly the first time Mason and Imogen dated. Totally half brother and sister.

Whether all that means she got her wishes about being reinstated is anyones guess.

Its funny that Neighbours writers wrote in a surrogate young woman and son, in Rhiannon and Jackson, living with Karl and Susan while they are being sued to reinstate Libby (who would presumably come with a new Ben if she did return).

onedev · 22/11/2013 22:18

Thanks Decaff, although still don't quite get it - did they sack her because she was sick?

decaffwithcream · 23/11/2013 20:31

She's sued them for disability discrimination and claimed unfair dismissal, so she must think they did.

I have no idea about the sex discrimination bit though.

If they do bring her back as another character (which was something she asked for if she couldn't be Libby) she could be Mason and Imogen's sister, the one on a very long exchange in Canada.

Seeing her introduced to Karl and Susan would be head-wrecking Grin

Katz · 24/11/2013 17:06

she could come back as Libby - the character is just living near her son Ben who is extremely gifted and went to boarding school as a result!

They do like that storyline. Harry (the most unconvincing basketball player ever) got a basketball scholarship in Sydney, Sophie, who only started learning to play guitar to be able to have lesson with Noah, was an unknown musical talent and got a scholarship to music school!

onedev · 24/11/2013 21:36

Thanks both Grin

decaffwithcream · 25/11/2013 18:52

She could easily come back as Libby if they let her.

She has invited people to campaign on twitter to get Libby back.

But it's her suggestion that she play another character if she can't play Libby that wrecks my head Grin
