Just caught up with three episodes. On Wednesday's, when Chris and Amber were chatting outside the coffee shop/Lassiters, an extra walked past, who looked suspiciously like Scotty...

Can't believe Mason and his pleading "Take me back" banner! Can't remember why Kate dropped him so suddenly...must have missed an episode.

scarlet5tyger · 06/11/2013 13:05

I was struggling enough with how annoying Georgia is, now there's 2 of them! I don't think there's a single person left that I like anymore. Paul was okay until he cried - please don't make him suddenly get a heart!

alemci · 06/11/2013 15:26

Yes that new cousin is really irritating and has a vacant look about her. She doesn't look old enough to be a qualified teacher and I love the equal opportunities in Erinsborough High. Do they not advertise or get a supply teacher.

what a load of rubbish

Katz · 06/11/2013 16:22

Oh yes Izzy that would be fab

ShipwreckedAndComatose · 06/11/2013 19:31

I has assumed the story line was that she is a fraud and not qualified at all. To go from dancing into a science/teaching degree and then qualify to actually have a previous job history seemed somewhat stretching it!

Mind you... Kate did it, so why not!!

She is vacant though, isn't she!!!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 07/11/2013 10:24

There was something in yesterday's episode, suggesting something strange happened at her old school - when she was talking to her mum on the phone, and was saying that she hadn't done 'those things'. I think she has some sort of PTSD, following her accident, and this will come out when she's under stress in the classroom.

I am absolutely sure that Susan is going to regret hiring her!

SpanishFly · 07/11/2013 12:32

I certainly regret Susan hiring her. She's dreadful. Has weird staring eyes, her mouth moves very strangely and she's got a very bizarre voice.

On the other hand I'm delighted rebecca is returning, even though it's not for long. I really miss her and tge (first) Declan - I thought the programme was much better in those days

OP posts:
KittyMcAllister · 07/11/2013 17:34

Yes I really liked Rebecca too - is she going to be a love interest for Paul again I wonder? I wondered if maybe annoying cousin will turn out to have seduced one of her students? And I love how a head teacher is called upon to fill in, no supply teachers available then?!

Suburban · 08/11/2013 06:43

No new character can arrive without having some sort of mysterious secret.

I slightly wonder if she is being lined up as Kate's replacement?

Cannot stand all the Josh and Amber scenes at the moment.

alemci · 08/11/2013 10:24

Agree about Amber. She doesn't seem to have much up top does she and is really clingy and irritating.

Also Imogen. In real life Toady would tell her to take a running jump when she expects to be paid. Talk about pushy.

Does Kate think those check trousers look good?

alemci · 08/11/2013 10:25

I mean brain wise.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 08/11/2013 11:15

Maybe work experience students in Australia do get paid - I suppose it would enhance the experience. I have an Aussie friend - I will ask her.

scarlet5tyger · 08/11/2013 14:39

Today is Scott and Charlene's 25th wedding anniversary (in the UK at least). Now I feel old!!

Suburban · 10/11/2013 09:14

this is brilliant. Actors who have played more than one part in neighbours.

Love the Sheila/Cheryl Stark one.

alemci · 10/11/2013 10:32

did Sheila actress play Cheryl the whole time? If so I wouldn't have made the connection. Cheryl had bright red hair or was that another actress?

Interesting site thanks

Suburban · 10/11/2013 11:32

No Cheryl was played by an actress with red hair. But the actress was off sick for a while so instead of abruptly sending her to Bendigo or Tazzy they just brought another actress (Sheila) to play her for a month or so.

alemci · 11/11/2013 18:59

boak with Josh and Amber and their parents, cringing at the "should we wait". get a life Lauren.

Clawdy · 11/11/2013 22:43

Sick and tired of Josh and Amber.Storylines are dragging at the moment.

Katz · 12/11/2013 07:57

Spoiler alert but the officially neighbours twitter says someone is leaving, someone many of you will be pleased to hear is leaving!

bootsycollins · 12/11/2013 09:17

I accidentally watched what I presumed was Home and Away yesterday, I thought Carl and Susan had left Erinsborough and moved to Summer Bay for a good 3 minutes. Then I realised that my confusion was because Sally and another Summer Bay ex resident had in fact moved to Erinsborough. Outwitted by Aussie soap, not good Grin

alemci · 12/11/2013 18:20

did you mean Kate Ritchie in home and away playing Sally.? which summer bay characters.

I think therese was in H & A.

Asheth · 12/11/2013 21:40

Brad was in H&A wasn't he, under another name. And isn't that the Jack Holden actor from H&A playing Toadie's dodgy client?

Willabywallaby · 13/11/2013 14:17

I did quite like Mason topless today, although I'm sure he didn't need to be wandering around the house with no top on.

Haven't seen it for a week, totally missed Lucas and Vanessa leaving. Last saw it with the cousin arriving and now she's a teacher!

Only this thread is helping me follow it.

bootsycollins · 15/11/2013 00:56

Yeah Kate Richie from Home and Away but in Neighbours, is she a teacher at Erinsborough High?. The other home and Away actress in Neighbours was one of Tom and Pippas foster children who had a teenage pregnancy storyline.

alemci · 15/11/2013 08:11

Bootsy not sure if that is the same actress. A character called Kate is a teacher and she looks similar maybe.

Was Therese Willis one of the original foster dc in Home and Away from a young age?
