Luther - Series 3?

Anyone know when Luther, Series 3 is starting.

I guess that it will be in the Autumn, but don't know.

I wondered why he didn't write a note. DH will not be allowed out on a Tuesday night till its finished. Man under the bed was sooooo scary. I went in the kitchen when the other guy got the blender out.

Well I survived the night. It appears there was no one under my bed and as the loft hatch is in DD2's room I felt relatively safeish when I went to bed last night!! Cat gave me the creeps though when is started meowing by the front door to be let in .......that's how it all started but he did just want t be let in. Going to start watching series 1 & 2 think they might be on Netflix.

She is...........but I will admit I didn't give her a kiss goodnight last night I made DH do it!!

Did anyone else shit themselves during the attic scene? Dp was laughing his back off at me squealing.
The love interest is dodgy I don't like her she can get lost I'm hoping alice will sort her out.

I made it through the night without going for a wee. No way could I walk through the kitchen.

I had a huge fear of someone under the bed as a child after that stupid 'dogs can lick too' urban legend.

I think justin is bluffing too. I cant see him getting so worked up over that dad getting off with murder.

I also think that the new girl is suspect.

Will be recording in future so that I can FF through the bad bits

Fortunately, my bed is too low for anyone to fit under & we have no attic!

Although was just dozing off & husband coughed & I just about hit the ceiling!

I'm usualy a light sleeper.

But one night, when husband was supposed to be working away, he drove home instead-without telling me-& I woke to find him standing in the bedroom at about 3am, having just got in!

Scared the shit out of me-as did the realisation that he'd got into the bedroom without me hearing a bloody thing!

I have the concentration of a gnat for TV atm. But even I was glued to this...or maybe pinned to the sofa with terror. Brilliant

Poor cat though .....sorry, I know, skewed priorities, but I will confess to shutting both cats in my bedroom with me until H got home.

I was saying that too, Ormirian. Usually I'm bored watching TV, especially something on BBC with no adverts to break it up, meaning that it's a full hour. But Luther always flies past for me.

I dont think I have been so terrified by a tv prog before this. I couldnt watch the blender scene nor the one with the couple and the huge window/loft, kept switching over to Workhouse prog on itv at those bits. Couldn't go up to bed either afteewards had to watch something else to try and take my mind off. Will try to watch next week but will hope for no more scare.the.shit.out.of.all.women scenes!

The only time I have been that scared of a tv programme was Whitechapel. There was a scene with a full length mirror and a murderer standing watching the woman behind it. Still makes me shudder. I cant stand the thought of someone in my house watching me while im completely unaware.

Stems from being burgled as a child. Woke up in the morning to find they had been in my room when I was asleep.

I'll still watch next week. I think I might have to get some kitchen blinds though

I think the woman is dodgy. She admitted it her was her fault and Luther said not to worry. Therefore not following the rule book.

I was in the office alone this morning at 8am and a colleague came slowly up the stairs and scared the shit out of me. still scared nearly 12 hours later.

It shows how well it's made that we are still thinking about it so much today and I, for one am still shuddering at some of the scenes.

DH had to make me put my cutlery down mid eating as he was concerned what might happen if I didn't!!!!!

Cor cor cor, did not disappoint.

PS. My DH used to go out with the new "iffy/dodgy" lady, many moons ago!!!

Can anyone refresh my memory of how the last season ended?
I thought they were about to arrest Luther but that Alice took the blame or am I making that up?
I also think it looks like Alice has been sending Luther postcards. I hope she will make an appearance.

On possibly dodgy woman insisting she was in the wrong - maybe that was just her in for a date?

Luther helped Alice escape. He sheltered teenage prostitute from mob guy and his evil grandmother.
Teenage prostitute killed the mob guy in his flat (hence the blood they discovered in his flat) and he helped dispose of the body by hiding it in the boot of a mob minion's car. He then used Alice as a threat to get evil mob granny to back off and leave him and Jenny (teenage prostitute). Roll on awesome scene of Luther and Jenny sitting on a bench eating a 99. End of series.

I do watch it but much preferred him as Stringer Bell.

Series 2 is starting next Thursday on alibi channel for anyone that want's to catch up

Have to say, I don't care if new woman is dodgy/iffy as long as it means Luther gets a sex scene!

On a Luther countdown and on my own again, will have to do some loin girding beforehand
