Anyone know when Luther, Series 3 is starting.

I guess that it will be in the Autumn, but don't know.

Can't wait :)

Oooh, I love Luther but I had to watch that from behind a cushion.

DH has just gone upstairs and shouted down that there is no one under the bed and he was crying with laughter because only today our missing cat turned out to be in our neighbours loft.

I shouted at Justin at the end - how could he?

Watched on my own and have now checked under bed. Not going to use blender again either... Really love Luther tonights had shades of The Fall. That creepy Scottish ex cop is pretty scary too.

Maybe we should start the "Post Luther - too scared for sleep" thread to get us through the night Grin

Munch you're brave, I'm still on the sofa and need a wee, at least DH is home.

DH has gone outside to look for the cat... He's been laughing at me because he says if I lived alone even my love lust for Idris wouldn't be enough to make me watch Luther while I was alone.

Another one too scared to sleep!!! I'm lay in bed with every light in in the house on waiting for DH - he's due in any minute!!! I even turned over at the beginning as soon as the camera went under the bed coz I thought "there's not a chance I'm watching him grab her from under the bed"!!!! It's brilliant though I'm watching series 1 and 2 on "alibi" at the moment for those who haven't seen it before and want to know what's going on Smile

Good luck Diddl, I don't feel brave but need my sleep!

Ooh I didn't know it was on Alibi. I want to watch them again is it repeated?

Thing with Luther is that he's not dodgy he just has his own sense of justice. I don't quite know how they knew for sure that Barnaby was the killer but he was going to let him off out of compassion. That crying scene in the kitchen was brutal. Poor Ken.

Another here having checked underneath the bed. Wishing we had a divan and no loft .......

Not normally scared by stuff on the telly but I had my hands over my ears and my eyes shut for the blender scene and when the programme finished I was peering over the top of a cushion which I was clutching tightly to my mouth.

It was really good because it relied on suspense rather than surprise for impact. You knew there would be somebody under the bed and in the attic, but the slow build up was an incredible way of cranking up the tension. I knew the man under the plastic sheet was going to move suddenly but when he did I still jumped in the air! Can't wait til next week!!

I found the way the guy came out from under the bed incredibly creepy. The way he moved so purposefully and calmly. It was eerie.

Sinister, I thought that about the car crash too, her reactions were abnormal. The way she stared, then shook herself when he put his head in the car. That seemed just wrong.

Gah.

This is why I put loads of crap under the bed.

SinisterBuggyMonth, you could be onto something there, I posted that I can't believe Justin is falling for it, I kept shouting at the telly "just write him a note and tell him what's happening", but when they were fighting in the office Luther let the phone drop and didn't get to warn the other woman (mad Maya in corrie years ago by the way) so will he blame Justin for not fore warning them, oh I don't know, and where is Alice, I thought she was coming back but now not so sure, although creepy cop does have her picture on his wall, right I have to stop now and wait till next week.

Well wasn't that the bloody scariest thing ever??

Big old brave DH and silly little scared me sat watching most if it from behind our hands, we even sang very loudly with our fingers in our ears and eyes closed when the blender came out!!

Luther would not go for that skinny blonde either (set up). I know he much prefers buxom, pregnant, brunettes.

Justin was bluffing before when he pretended to be on the side of The Man. I reckon he is again.

We were wondering why he didn't just write a note, too.
