Looks like the marriage (Ellie's) isn't as perfect as it looks. What did her husband say he was before he became a SAHD by the way? A builder/electrician? Really struggling to think what it all can be but is it a paternity thing? Surely it must be? Or Danny was helping siphon the Deisel and something happened?

They did check the computers/emails/Facebook etc of the boys at the start. Tom had deleted a load of stuff. They had no reason to delve into Tom's hard drive.

DT didn't ask OC for Tom's computer. He asked for Danny's. I agree, it seems a bit strange bit to have checked it before.
