sorry I meant travel cotBlush

dollybird · 22/05/2006 22:35

I wasn't having a go - just expressing disbelief at being in a travel cot at two as they are quite small compared to a 'real' cot iyswim. :)

morgansauntie · 23/05/2006 07:41

they couldn't do a follow up straight away as these weeks were only filmed the week before they went out on air.

regarding tanya failing - recently read an article where tanya said "Sometimes my advice doesn't work and everbody gets to see it, i'm no miracle worker and we may not transform everybody but hopefully everybody gets something out of it"

Perhaps people should email outline productions for a follow up programme - just a thought

Did anybody notice the look tanya gave harry's mum when her husband started crying, if looks could kill!

cod · 23/05/2006 09:21

hmm she is ratehr stlyish think tanya will eb ont he run

foxinsocks · 23/05/2006 10:29

the dads are good looking??? are you sure you recorded the right thing??

think the amelia parents just reek of over controlling, almost obsessive parents - they are super well turned out, as was their house and they were practically leaning over her every time she ate. I think I would have gone mad with that type of pressure.

Jessie is a cute little boy but his mother needs to assert herself. She seems to be blindly following the dad even when it is clear that what he's doing hasn't been in Jessie's best interest.

As for the other family, boy that mum has an evil look! I also think they seem to have created a lot of his problems - they grabbed the walker off him when he wasn't doing anything....all a bit strange really.

lucykate · 23/05/2006 11:29

i missed last weeks but managed to catch a bit of it last night, looks an interesting one.

i thought amelia's mum looked like jools oliver.

ok, who watches it and spends ages trying to work out where the kids clothes have been bought from? Grin

cod · 23/05/2006 14:41

amelias dad is sdishy and the balck guy

MagicGenie · 23/05/2006 14:45

Who else get the feeling Tanya doesn't like Jesse's Dad...? (MagicGenie sucks air through teeth and shakes head slowly.)

I reckon he's in for it tonight. His wife definitely needs some lessons in assertiveness.

PS I'm with Cod - Amelia's Dad is a looker ;-)

sugarfree · 23/05/2006 21:00

"a wolf or Mummy is coming to get you!!" I don't like Jesse's dad either.
Kemmy has got no chance of getting Jesse into his own bed while she is constantly being undermined by his dad.
I feel so sorry for her but she really needs to standup for herself, and ultimately Jesse because he will eventually be the biggest loser in all this.

sugarfree · 23/05/2006 21:02

Oooh! Amelia's dad really had his hackles up about the other dad reading the story, didn't he,bloody hell!
Chill Dad,one day she's going to bring boyfriends home and everything!!

2shoes · 23/05/2006 21:30

got a bit confused as only sa half of it.why was the little girl screaming about the story. did she want to listen with the boys??

nutcracker · 23/05/2006 21:33

Felt really really sorry for the dad of the boys when Amelias dad came looking for her and he was reading her a story. Poor bloke.

sugarfree · 23/05/2006 21:33

yes

2shoes · 23/05/2006 21:50

and that was wrong. strange!
I think Jessies dad is a pain. I have this feeling when they get home he will just go back to as before.

LIZS · 23/05/2006 21:55

Amelia had been sent to fetch a story to be read to her in bed. She got distracted by the boys' dad who was about to read his kids a story and invited her to join them. Enter A's dad looking for her and blaming her for getting siodetracked...

wannaBe1974 · 24/05/2006 06:24

well I dunnow about hary but I think that jo is actually the little brat in that household. "shut up, shut up, oh look I can do all this" ... god he got on my nerves last night.

jenk1 · 24/05/2006 08:01

Amelias dad...Whoa what was his problem?

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 24/05/2006 08:41

really not liking Jesse's dad - i just wanna grab him and say LISTEN TO TANYA!

MeAndMyBoy · 24/05/2006 08:59

Amelia's dad looked like he was on the war path last night following her when she went for the story. I was scared!

Jesse's dad doesn't seem pleased that he is going to have to have a quiet house by 8 every night - I can see him going out most nights when they get home and Kammy being left at home while he get's on with his life.

Couldn't believe Harry's brothers language and strop as well, but thought his parents were getting to grips with things really well.

I love this programme it's great :)

fuzzyfelt · 24/05/2006 13:23

I've only managed to catch Mondays episode this week so far. What happened last night that hasn't already been mentioned today? Has Harry's mum agreed with Dr T that she is depressed?
Agree about Jesse's dad from the little I've seen - he seems to have trouble accepting authority from women.

Is it the last week this week or did I mis-hear Claudia?

sandyballs · 24/05/2006 13:33

Amelia is soooo much like my friend's daughter, it's spooky, very high-pitched and dramatic and in your face.

melrose · 24/05/2006 13:55

Think the main appeal of this programme is smugly sitting on the sofa thinking, "well I'm not that bad a parent after all!!" Has to be the last week, Claudia looks ready to drop! (and increasingly scared at the propect of parenthood!)
