cod · 22/05/2006 14:48

did it start yest?

unicorn · 22/05/2006 14:49

does anyone know if there are plans for House of tiny tearaways 'revisited'... or 'At Home with the tearaways'?
Much as I love this programme, I still feel it is a very artifical environment (obviously!) and am very curious if the 'problems' are really fixed.
How many revert back to behaviou pre house for example? How many couples are still together?!

Perfect for a follow up I would have thought?

Jessajam · 22/05/2006 14:50

yes, 1st one sunday night

Look out for the....only joking!!!

2shoes · 22/05/2006 15:27

did anyone see Harry's parents smile?? did I blink and miss it

Mog · 22/05/2006 15:46

Think Tanya's going to pull up Harry's mum and dad for being too good cop, bad cop. Mum looks possessed when she's telling them off and dad puts on namby voice when trying to get them to do something.

Clayhead · 22/05/2006 16:46

I commented to dh that neither of Harry's parents ever smiled. Also, the spaghetti, talk about creating a tantrum. I have no idea why he just couldn't get on with eating it as he was.

Amelia's mum's face when Tanya spoke to her...Shock. And that screaming...yikes, couldn't put up with that.

sparklemagic · 22/05/2006 17:42

Unicorn, I agree, I would love to see follow up programmes seeing how the families get on after some time has passed.....I am prepared to be wrong, but I don't think this will happen as I have a leeeeeetle feeling that our Tanya is very keen on being seen to be a success....if it's falling apart at home, this would sully her perfect acheivement Grin

I do think that Amelia and her mum are both little madams, wouldn't fancy spending time with either of them actually!

Raggydoll · 22/05/2006 18:26

to be honest - all 3 kids this week have 'spoilt brat' tendancies Shock. hope i'm proved wrong obviously but fgs the whole house is being run by under fives at the moment...!

i loved last weeks families - just watched the last episode today. rosie was an amazing turnaround with the eating and charlie was cute wasn't he - his dad said he visits parenting chat rooms - i wonder if he's checked out this thread - hope so as i don't think there has been one bad word about that family, they were lovely. Not sure about matthews mum and dad though - think they were a bit disapointed that matthew wasn't eating steak and chips on friday.

wannaBe1974 · 22/05/2006 18:48

think that Harry's parents think that they should have all the answers as they're both psychotherapists or something aren't they?

FrayedKnot · 22/05/2006 19:55

Ooh, missed last night's can't wait to catch up.

Does anyone know is it kind of semi-live?

In otehr words is Claudia about to drop or has she had it?

peasinapod · 22/05/2006 21:02

So I wonder what Jessies dad did then ?

sugarfree · 22/05/2006 21:06

He's in trouble with Dr Tanya tomorrow for sure isn't he?

I don't like Harry's mum.

TheMammy · 22/05/2006 21:12

Right, has anyone noticed how Jessies mum does not ever look at Tanya at all? It's as if she feels inferior or something... she looks at her husband for reassurance before she speaks. And why can't they ask his brother to move out for the harmony in the house. Is it because they are dependent on his rent money? They did say he paid them rent. Also, Harrys mum is a sour faced woman, ((and sorry for saying this and if I get a virtual slap I will most likely deserve it, but why call her son Harry when she can't pronounce her R's?))
Amelia is a little madam whose parents need to learn how to parent. Look how well she ate the food for one of Tanyas stickers!! Grin
All just my humble opinion though Wink

LIZS · 22/05/2006 21:15

Don't think Jesse's parents have the will to carry it through. His dad wants a mate to hang out with not a child who needs to go to bed early.

FrayedKnot · 22/05/2006 21:16

OMG Jesse's parents.

If DS was up until 1am every night I would go spare.

Did they not realise he was tired?

Poor kid.

peasinapod · 22/05/2006 21:16

earlier I said I thought natalie looked familiar. She looks like the spitting image of the oldest girl I first nannied for ,so being the sad moo that I am I looked on 192 and in the area I know they live in there is a Natalie and a mathew Davies .

Raggydoll · 22/05/2006 21:19

i noticed that too about jessies mum - she does whatever jessies dad suggests even though its clear she disagrees, like with jessie sleeping in their bed last night. admit haven't seen this evenings yet so will watch tomorrow with interest. you can tell me what happened though if you want ... Wink

Raggydoll · 22/05/2006 21:22

those of you who want to see the follow up at home, wouldn't you like to see the 'lazy old git' from op and programme one?? Grin

TheMammy · 22/05/2006 21:27

Yes, I would, as I thought when that family left he was starting to realise that he needed to do more and be their father and his wifes lover, instead of his wifes father and his kids grandpa.

apologies for bad typing, sick sleeping baby on lap.

dollybird · 22/05/2006 22:05

Why aren't they doing the updates at home on the Friday this series - it's always nice to see if they can continue the good work at home.

2shoes · 22/05/2006 22:13

so shall we take bets on Jessie going to sleep in HIS bed at a child freindly hour when he gets home!

LIZS · 22/05/2006 22:14

Think they are quite recently recorded so probably no follow up yet.

dollybird · 22/05/2006 22:20

2shoes - he doesn't have a bed at home - just a travel cot! my dd had a travel cot and did NOT last till she was two! Wonder why they're not doing rapid return - would get much quicker results I think.
