Justice delivered with audience participation.

IrrelevantElephant · 18/02/2013 22:56

This is TERRIFYING!!

SoleSource · 18/02/2013 22:57

Futuristic method of punishing criminals as an activity.

PirateHat · 18/02/2013 22:58

Well that explains why they are all filming it and why they don't help.

expatinscotland · 18/02/2013 22:58

That is trippin.

AmberLeaf · 18/02/2013 22:58

Yes SinisterBuggy!

I think its a horrible concept.

Jellykat · 18/02/2013 22:58

Wow.. very very thought provoking as always... She ended up as the victim even though she'd filmed the little girl..
But yes also very Big Brotheresque.
Clever!

SO clever - totally captures the mood of many of the comments on social networking sites...I am always shocked at how many people offer to dole out gruesome punishments themselves...he has tapped into that well.

SchmancyPants · 18/02/2013 23:13

I always plan to watch Black Mirror but then get too freaked out and have to turn over :( I switched over at the point when they were in the clearing in the woods and saw the women hanging. Could anyone sum up the rest briefly for me please?

ethelb · 18/02/2013 23:17

Brilliant but terrifying. It was like a satire of Derren Brown crossed with A Clockwork Orange at the end.

Honestly one if the scariest things I have ever seen was about to turn it off at the clearing in the woods bit

How does Charlie do it?

ethelb · 18/02/2013 23:18

@shmancy shall i pm you? It would be a massive massive spoiler

SchmancyPants · 18/02/2013 23:19

That would be great Ethel, yes please! Don't want to spoil it for anyone else.

I chickened out of watching in the end but I've just read up on it on wiki. YOu really can see why it is called Black Mirror, it really does reflect the darkest parts of humanity.

MarshaBrady · 19/02/2013 09:29

It was quite good. I liked the ending as I found the first part hammy anyway.

I like the part at the end were they did the out takes and the presenter was all upbeat the most.

MarshaBrady · 19/02/2013 09:29

liked and where!

TwllBach · 19/02/2013 18:53

I've skimmed the last couple of posts because I'm watching it on sky plus.

I'm on the bit where she is being tied to the tree and he's got a gun out.

This is really not nice, I am just about terrified! I might have to watch home and away after, to make myself feel better!

fiddlemethis · 19/02/2013 18:54

I loved this, I watched last nights and I'm still feeling the chills from it. Who is this Charlie Brookers chap? It was very thought provoking. I'm looking forward to next weeks already!

TwllBach · 19/02/2013 18:55

Oh crap, did she kill her little girl??

TwllBach · 19/02/2013 19:00

Whaaaaaaat the actual Jeff?????

OddBoots · 19/02/2013 19:01

Charlie Brooker has had a few series of the satirical 'News/Games/2012/2013 Wipe' programmes, at the moment he has Weekly Wipe Thus nights on BBC2, they are worth a watch.

Jellykat · 19/02/2013 19:39

Twllbach Exactly!

I was genuinely revolted by it, but in a I-want-to-see-more-of-his-stuff kind of way, because I can see it happening, IYSWIM?

I saw the lost series and his zombie/big brother film and loved those. These seem to be darker though.
