Another massive fan here! Avery's Exes would be the perfect name, love it.

Am hoping Deacon chucks the tour he is on and joins Rayna and Juliette's tour... also very tempted to download the album, I'm really enjoying the music.

Got my 20 year old DS watching it - he loves it and the albumShock
Was Juliette ditching the family by not going through with the church wedding rather than the marriage or will she go for annulment?
Of course Deacon will chuck the tour - otherwise we'll have to follow him to AsiaGrin
Anyone else think Scarlett is a bit weird looking or is it just our house?

Loving Nashville. Huge closet country fan here.

Last week's ending was awesome.

I think Juliette probably felt she couldn't wear the necklace under the circs - whatever those circs are, exactly. Following the Britney model is she going for the quickie 'ooh I was drunk' annulment? Why? Because her mum said so?

I suspect one or more of Deacon's band mates are going to fall off the wagon on tour, and he'll want to get away from them at that point.

Sean's mother is no fool is she? Brilliant!

Loved Deacon getting Scarlett away from the creepy singer! Hopefully he'll end up on the Rayna and Juiette tour now...

Not hugely surprised at Juliette and Sean, wonder if we'll get to see his family's reaction at all?

Liking the introduction of Gunnar's brother, could be a great story with them coming up.

LittleAbruzzenBear · 12/04/2013 13:58

More eye candy, Gunnar's brother was nice!

Can't believe the security guy trying to stop Deacon. I wouldn't be surprised if that's happened in RL (security knowing full well a young fan will end up raped....shudder) with certain bands.

Teddy will end up having an affair with Peggy.

Report
tribpot · 12/04/2013 22:44

Yes, the rape bit was dreadful. The security guy - ugh.

So the scene is now set for Deacon to join the tour, with all the complications that will ensue.

Not in the least upset to see Avery acting like an arse, who's clearly going to be taken for a ride by Dominic. Tosser.

The security guy's behaviour made me feel very sick.

What an episode tonight!

I'm sure Rayna and Teddy are heading for a divorce now, at first I thought she might hook up with Liam but not so sure now.

Deacon...I just want to hug him and tell him things will be ok! Not sure how to feel about him going on tour, on one hand thank God he's out of the house and not alone but on the other, things could get really awkward with Rayna.

Not really been too into the Juliette and her Mum side of things but made a nice change to see them not arguing at the end, maybe it'll be the start of a better relationship between them but I doubt it'll be that easy!

Am I the only one who prefers Juliette to Rayna?

Report
LittleAbruzzenBear · 19/04/2013 20:10

I like Juliette and I love Deacon. I want Juliette and Deac to have a happy ending. Loved it when Avery drove past the bar and saw Scarlett and Gunnar with his old band. He'll be successful, but lonely.

Report
diddl · 19/04/2013 20:16

I think Deacon will always want Rayna, unfortunately.

I really don't like her character.

I know Juliette is a spoiled brat, but she appeals to me much more for some reason.

But I loved it when he got on the plane & rayna assumed it was for her.

But I guess they'll have an affair, or her & Teddy will split because he thinks they have.

BOF · 19/04/2013 20:20

I love Juliette, love her. That scene with her mum was really touching.

Report
LittleAbruzzenBear · 19/04/2013 20:42

But Juliette is brattish because she had a rough childhood so she thinks she needs to act a certain way to get what she wants in life, barriers up and hide her real self. She is herself with Deac though. I loved that scene with her Mum too.

I think Rayna needs a kick up the bottom.

diddl · 19/04/2013 20:55

I don't know what it is about Rayna that irritates so much.

I don't really get why she hates Juliette & her brand so much.

Times change-even she has had to reinvent-with wanker liam!!

When he laid down on the stage I really wanted Juliette to stand on him & carry on singing.

I know she was rude to run over time, but I thought he was ruder to not wait until she finished the song.

And Rayna-just somehow keeps Deacon hanging on.

Why is she an,bout to leave Teddy-the money thng/the Peggy non affair?

And why did she marry him-because she was pregnant-with Deacon's baby(?)

Report
tribpot · 19/04/2013 22:16

I thought Deacon had a bloody cheek saying it was Rayna's fault for not waiting for him. If she'd been on Mumsnet she would have had a chorus of LTB from before the first stint in rehab, never mind the fifth! (And with good reason).

Trouble is there's that whole unspoken thing - she obviously married Teddy because she was pregnant with Deacon's baby and he was off rehabbing at the time. Then he comes out sober but oops, it's too late, she's burnt her bridges.

Quite enjoying Juliette being pissed off that Rayna's getting all the credit for Wrong Song. Assumption that she's just the eye candy along to flog the record, not a musician of Rayna's calibre.

I was quite liking the Rayna-Liam thing til he turned out to be a weasel, that all turned around a bit quickly!

Volume 2 of the soundtrack released 20 May. US track listing here.

I'm quite annoyed that there's no Chip on part 2 of the soundtrack...I love him as Deacon but I do wish he had a bit more singing, he has

I want my own plane too!

And both their wardrobes

Report
diddl · 20/04/2013 07:37

I agree that that was a bloody cheek on Deacon's part.

Should she have given him that once last chance to see if he could be a good father?

But she just won't leave him alone that's what I hate.

All done under "caring about him" but tbh I see it as just somehow not letting him move on.

Report
diddl · 20/04/2013 07:39

I think I feel for Juliette as she's so lonely.

She's got the money & that's it.

Can't really understand why Rayna is so short of money if she was supposed to have been such a star tbh.

But then she seemingly has everything but the money-although I guess that that is about to change!

Rayna's short of cash because Teddy spent it all on some bad property deals - I guess she felt she had little choice but to stand by him after he'd taken her and her baby on, etc etc.

I don't think she went over to see him to make things worse - the magazine article had just come out and she wanted to make sure he was okay.

I agree about Juliette - I think the producers of the show are actually softening the kind of lifestyle that kind of star ends up leading, surrounded by people who really are just out for what they can make off you. However, hopefully they'll play that storyline out around Avery since he deserves to be ripped off by everyone.

Report
diddl · 20/04/2013 09:16

I thought that Teddy had "appropriated" money from his own business?

Oh yes-but he did pay it back-that must have been from somewhereBlush

Report
tribpot · 20/04/2013 09:21

Yes, he did - in a Father Ted stylee he had some money 'resting' in his bank account from his business. But Rayna didn't know about that (or at least that aspect of it) until recently so may have bailed him out on another bad deal.
