The Paradise - Mr Moray is a sexual predator! Miss Audrey is right!

Never been a fan of Miss Audrey but she was giving Denise good advice this week. What is it with Moray and snogging everyone and anyone then looking wistful about his dead wife. Then there is Clara desperate to give him some -'say it with a Geordie accent' "comfort".

Also, how old is Miss Katherine Glendenning? She looks about 35, with a dowry like hers she would have been married off years ago!

Surely I am not the only one watching this drivel?

I am watching, but am weeks behind A's have been 'taping' it (YKWIM, on the sky planner)

I do think Catherine glendenning is a miserable old trout face!

I watch it! Although I am the only person I know who does! I love Miss Audrey! She was brilliant this week and love the turn the story is taking with the competing stores.

I watch it too and think it has really improved, seems like it will get much more interesting now that Denise has declared her love for Moray. Agree that Miss Audrey came across as very insightful.

I've stopped watching it. I got bored, but it sounds as if the story has started to pick up again. Think I'll be checking out i-player :o

It's still dreadful, but I'm watching all the same.

I still don't understand the appeal of the whispering Mouret, but I do like Lady Glendennings character.

I'm saving it as it's based on one of my favourite books. I've been told it's shite but I'm still looking forward to sitting down and watching it all :)

Oops, Moray. The family is Mouret in the books (though I haven't read Ladies Paradise, just most of the others where the Mourets appear).

I really like it! I'm a sucker for a costume drama, even if they are like Heartbeat in period costume.

I swing from liking Moray to really disliking him. I don't think he's a predator, or a murderer but I do think he's a bit of a weakling.

Katherine is not the one for him. I think he wants love but won't let himself and doesn't love Katherine anyway. Denise however, might kindle something!

I love Elaine Cassidy -swoons- but yeah I do often wonder how old Katherine is meant to be considering the actress is well into her 30s

I hope they come back for a second series, going to get me a boat and row up the Wear to find them /stalker

Katherine excelled herself with ridiculous dresses tonight. Yet again not much happened, it just bumbled along much like Downton.

Her dresses were indeed ridiculous!

I wonder if they are meant to signify her increasing spoilt brattiness so we aren't rooting for her and are rooting for Moray when he is actually being a bit of a shit?

It does next week though! Backward step?

I know The Paradise is froth and silly, but I love it still.

I wonder how they are going to tie it all, in final episode.

Are they going to find the dead body, of the 'barber/junior partner'? Will this result in the wedding being postponed?

Regardless of dead bodies, I think Moray will jilt Katherine Glendenning, and snog Denise.

We'll then have next series, with Katherine and her dad getting their revenge....

I'm going to have to read the books.

I don't like Moray as a person, but I do think he's very handsome. He makes me swoon.

I love the chemistry between Moray and Denise. So well acted.

He needs a punch on tbe nose from Lord Glendenning. Denise should run a mile in the opposite direction and what a nightmare Katherine is. Hopefully Jonas will take her off in the carriage too!

I was loving it, period froth with an ambitious feministy lead but then suddenly she falls for a spineless, fickle man-child and endangers her entire career?? Spent the last 2 episodes swearing at the TV.

Oh yes, Moray is one hot git AliBaba! I know what you mean Ria, I wanted her to trading enterprise to beat the Paradise and I think Miss Audrey sort of wanted that too, but trailer for next week shows Denise returning!?!
