Where is Sally Webster?
Where is Roy cropper's wife Hayley?
Why are Nigel Havers and Barbara Royle that funny colour?

I haven't heard his breathing yet MrsjRE but now you have said it if I carry on watching I will have a listen.

He sounds like Darth Vader. I thought they were well paid, surley he could afford to see an ENT specialist.

Do we actually know Gail is setting Lewis up using Gloria cos I must have totally missed that?

I missed that too, Gail is not usually very subtle.

My question to my fellow Corrie fans is this?

Can you name one of Tommy's good points?
Or explain why Tina is devoted to him?

Because all I can come up with is: he is miserable, he whinges, he is not remotely easy on the eye, and he is negative, and yet she is bending over backwards to help him and keep this energy sucking negative blob in her life.

Every time he comes on screen I say the same old thing to DH - "Oh not him again, I get depressed just looking at him"

He was good on Dancing on Ice?

Oh and to answer an earlier question:

Gloria's tan- she lived in Spain until recently
Lewis's tan- he recently got back from a cruise
David's tan- just sticks out like a sore thumb
Tina's tan- just reminds us all she's trying to look good for the next TV choice awards show and sticks out like a sore thumb.
Kevin- it's just dirt.

Sparkling- I was too depressed to watch because he was in it.

They all need to have a deep cleanse on Snog Marry Avoid. It was a shock to see Barbara Royle that colour.

Gloria has been here for months, you'd think her tan might have faded by now!

True, Glo's tan should faded by now. I don't what to say about David and Tina's- they look so unrealistic. I thought I read that producers had told them to tone it down but since fake tans are so popular now, perhaps it's more believable these days.

Any takers on Tommy's good points? Anyone?

I don't think i have watched it long enough to have an opinion on Tommy. Is he big mates with Rita? They had a chat last night. Or is he a relative? Actually who are his relatives?

I liked Chris Fountain in Hollyoaks, although he seems to be playing the same character in Coronation Street!

His relatives:
His dad is Terry Duckworth. He was the baby that Terry sold years ago to his grandparents in Blackpool (Tommy's GPs not Terry's obv).

His other GPs are the legends that are Jack and Vera Duckworth but obviously they are dead.

Rita and Tina are very close, Tina was bridesmaid at Rita's most recent wedding and worked in the Kabin for ages, so Rita looks out for both if them. Tommy's good points, it's not so much that he hasn't got any, he came back as a cheery enough character but was completely screwed both by his own Dad and then by Tyrone's psycho girlfriend. Tommy and Tina used to lodge with Ty but he moved in a girlfriend who is physically and emotionally abusive and has pretty well turned all Ty's friends against him as well as getting them arrested, chucked out of their flat etc.

No relation to Rita. Rita is just "the mother that Tina never had".

Tina's dad was married to Gail but died in a plotline so ludicrous even I can't remember the ins and outs. Tina was going outcwith David at the time (I know, beggars belief doesn't it)

Robin and Who I have read your last posts but need to read them again very slowly while maybe jotting a few notes down. Blimey, I have missed such a lot.

Robin, interesting that Rita is like a second mother to Tina. I wonder why they haven't brought in Tina''s actual mother? It's such a good storyline/new character opp that I wonder why they haven't done it.
