Ha ha, this is the first time I've watched it, hilarious! The programme makers have their tongues in their cheeks, I liked the digs at Anthea. Very amusing and although I doubt I'll watch it again it IS bizarrely fascinating, ikwym Caligula.

I usually watch this on a Sunday night, think it is hilarious. Smile

puff · 23/03/2006 21:14

cod said it's 30 mins too long - she's tight

puff · 23/03/2006 21:14

Blush er I mean right

JackieNo · 23/03/2006 21:33

You missed a great new towel trick whereby you fold up your guest towel to make it into the shape of a tortoise's body, and use a folded up facecloth as the head. WTF?

puff · 23/03/2006 21:33

pmsl

cod · 23/03/2006 21:34

i am tight too naturallement

VeniVidiVickiQV · 23/03/2006 21:43

Must be those skinny jeans Wink

WideWebWitch · 23/03/2006 21:57

The tortoise things was hilarious, I mean, as a guest you'd be so devastated to get to your guest room and find that your towels weren't folded in the shape of a tortoise wouldn't you? And what if there was no typed label on the ibuprofen saying 'hangover cure' well, how would you know what it was! Fantastic stuff.

I was also impressed (well, amused) that the other woman took it one stage further and did her towels in the shape of a pigGrin. I do remember a colleague at work telling me about her cruise in Egypt, and every evening the staff folded their towels in a different shape. Bet there are websites where we could learn how to do it....

cod · 23/03/2006 21:59

a PIG
ffs hot excalty romatic

JackieNo · 23/03/2006 22:00

JackieNo · 23/03/2006 22:03

And here's \link{http://www.net4tv.com/voice/graphics/bat_origami.gif\a bat}Grin (although it's meant for origami, rather than towels).

cod · 23/03/2006 22:03

swoon

cod · 23/03/2006 22:03

ds3 is ratehr keen on bats btw
rather odd fo a three year old

cod · 23/03/2006 22:04

er jackie thast hungry bat

JackieNo · 23/03/2006 22:09

Does the fact that it's hungry make it too scary for your DS, Cod?

So if any of us ever have another MNer to stay, it should be a requirement to have folded their towel like a bat, don't you thinkGrin?

treacletart · 23/03/2006 22:18

I was actually quite impressed with the cut the pop bottle in half and turn the top part upside down in the bottom part to make a no-spill-painting-water-pot trick.

puff · 24/03/2006 08:30

yes, it's those little gems that I enjoy watching it for. All the faffing with towels is boring though

WideWebWitch · 24/03/2006 09:34

Ha ha at those links JackieNo, amazing, there are people who care about this stuff!
