I did wonder if the book was written by someone a bit close to home under a nom de plume iykwim

snapes interesting about the angel. What had hit me was all the eye references, which then takes us back to.....

the other interesting thing about the clip you had linked to snapes, only for the completely obsessed, is that when they are crossing the road not only is there an eye reference, there is also a very interesting ad right in centre screen....

which probably will turn out to be completely unrelated but it has my theory-generator going overtime

The worst spoiler ever was telling us who Yana before the episode! I was really cross about that one, I'd have loved to squeal as we found out but we didn't find out, we knew.

Glaikit - the eye is on the left - move your eye to the centre of the screen - something that looks like a bluey-white rectangle with a black splodge

like i said, it's probably a complete red herring but it has amused me no end

I hate how much trailers give away, especially when they directly follow a programme. Why write a big surprise in then tell us?

The book/specs clip is here. This is a 40 second clip from the episode on the bbc website.

The last time I was truly unspoiled was the YANA episode, and I remember the elation when the big reveal happened, which is one of the reasons I've gone spoiler free this time round. I figure even if the ep. doesn't stand up to close inspection, I'll still be able to enjoy the squee properly.
