Really used to love this show when Tom and Izzie where teaching etc. Every year it gets a little more cringeworthy. Am now aaaggghhhhhh!!!! Terrible acting from the red head and skanky scout. Then how bad are the sponser and new eacher. Will give it to the end of the episode but is soooo bad!!

Never watched it before but tuned in cos it's set in my local town and it was disappointing but weird to see the local areas etc on tv...next week my bros house is in it (was in trailer showing the African family) so will tune in to see that lol

Here's me thinking at all these year I'm the only person in Greenock who uses Mumsnet!

Yes, Mela I live round the corner from "Waterloo Road" but went to the "other" school.

I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, it's on the planner. I'm not that bothered about the storyline or acting, I just want to go "Oh there such and such"! I was the same with "Sweet Sixteen" and "Dear Frankie".

I watched on iPlayer so have just finished - I enjoyed it I love Waterloo Road.

It is slightly odd and not quite as good, but hopefully will get into it. They always used to cover abuse storylines really well so I hope it doesn't go down the tropey route - could see a hint of it with the "abuse = anger problem" kind of storyline, but we'll see how it goes.

I like the new pub The school looks pretty much exactly the same, though. And was also surprised that they didn't kill off more people, and that all of the "problem" kids from last series magically decided to move up there to live with Mr Budgen and the dinner lady
