I got into it last series --and am starting to get obsessed with crap soaps.

Anyone else in for a discussion thread?

If they are now Waterloo Academy, in a barn, will they be able to have a totally bonkers curriculum?

And even fewer pupils.

Ooooh, yaya. Waterloo Road is the only programme I regret not having a tv that I can watch live tv on. I adore it, it reminds me that life could be worse (teacher here!)

I hated the end of the last series but I thought that was the grand finale, I didn't know it was coming back. I really hope no main characters died :( I'm sure they did though. I bet Grantley survived and the dinner lady he was just about to live happily ever after with died (sobs!)

They are not in barn, it may be Scotland but we're not that far behind!

In fact as Little Barn Owl said, they are in an old school which wasn't actually that old. As part of the Council programme of school building/refurbishment here there was a complete school that was offered to the production company.

It's bought the Council a bit of time as any re-development of this site is going to be difficult as it's in a conservation area.

I've never watched Waterloo Road before but will tonight as I want to see just how lovely the scenery is on the wee screen.

I love the way they can write and rehearse a full musical in about 10 minutes! It takes me hours and hours over several months.

can't wait, utter crap and escapism but so watchable
