Here we are, a new home for the second week.

Rafa will be sorely missed.

Rooting for Roger.

Could there/will there be more upsets ? If last week is anything to go by, is this years Wimby anyone's for the taking ?

Where did the Henri Leconte game go from the red button ? I flicked to BBC for end of Tsonga / Fish ( all 2 min of it ) and when I went back the seniors match had gone ....... they are however showing Lisicki on the red button (IDIOTS)

I really want Lisicki to win. Kerber keeps smirking when Lisicki loses a point. Great come back for Lisicki. but she really couldn't close out the match.

C'mon Sabine! or whatever the German equivalent is

I don't understand hoe they decide what goes on the red button.

Oh there is the match on court 1 , and 2 mens doubles ... I just don't understand why they wasted a slot on a match that was being shown on BBC .

I know - they did that yesterday when the Murray match was on. But I don't have sky- apparently they had a different match on the red button (I just have freeview). I thought all red buttons were the same.

The Radwanska match has been very disrupted.

Maria K. is even noisier than Maria S.!

Shame about Sabine Lisicki. I think she's more talented than Kerber, but ultimately her inconsistency cost her the match.

DD2 wanted Lisiki to win too!

Lisicki def lost the match, rather than Kerber won it, iyswim. I also thought kerber had a bit of an attititude, from the fact she is the more experienced, and Lisicki has never beaten her. i have nothing to base this on, however, just didn't like the look of her

Is it me, or are they about a dozen womens players with long blonde plaits? Is this to ensure a moggling contract when the tennis dries up (like Kournikova).

The women are indeed very confusing, they do all seem to have blond plaits and, being dyslexic, all the long names do my head in.

Azer' and pastel on red button now having a tie break.

I am losing the will to live with Azarenka. She doesn't so much shout, or grunt, she squeaks

Another match! learnt from their mistakes after yesterday, then. Red button doo-da is very odd- there is no commentary and then suddenly a voice booms from no-where. Think this is finishing the Radwanska match. They've been in and out due to rain, and have now changed court!

Eh? Did they put Radwanska and Kirilenko on Centre last night??

They did- which must have been strange for them. But good that they could get all the main matches finished on the day. They were discussing how rain the first week can be worked with- but once things start to get disrupted in the middle of the second, you've no lee-way. So they have to be more flexible now, ignore the schedule/allocated courts, and utilise the roof. The way they did things on Monday was just daft.

Good effort by Kirilenko, for once some of the womens matches were more interesting than the mens!

Exactly, Maryz- Tsonga is seeded 5- and has not yet played a match on centre or 1(if he has, they must have been showing someone else!)- so coverage has been on the red button, Which is no good if you haven't got it. And the red button is a bit pointless if they use it to show a match that is BBC 1 at the same time! Of course, Tsonga match may clash with murray, so we still won't get to see him

I will be rooting for Ferrer. Vamos Ferrer!

I think Tsonga may have been on number 1 against Lacko? Didn't get to see any of that!

not moving off the couch today

We have come out shopping. Dh has a day off. I have requested we are back by 1pm. I am not hopeful, but have a feeling the federer match may be a bit one sided unless he had a flair up of his back.
