Here we are, a new home for the second week.

Steffi does look fantastic!

I still heart her more than Fed :o. She hooked me in to watching tennis as a nine year old, although I never wanted to play, as I knew I was already too old to be any good!

I loved Steffi too, but I adored Andre. I had paper clippings the lot. All that long hair swooshing about.

He could have been Rafa's Dad.

She always looks so serene I think, Creme. And she doesn't look a day older than her heyday days. How does she do that? I always harboured a secret hope that Steffi and Becker would get together (before she got together with Andre that is).

Whatever happened to Gabriella Sabatini? I used to like her but she seemed to disappear overnight.

I never took to Andre much, didn't dislike him, just wasn't excited by him. Are you gals old enough to remember Jannick Noah? Oh, not good for my blood pressure to recall the lovely Jannick!

I think Roger and Novak must have a bet on who can finish first.

Ooh, didn't mean that "you gals" comment to sound patronising, was just thinking that I'm probably much older than any of you.

I had an entire wall devoted to Andre back in 1991, when I was 14! It was still up when he won in 1992.

Ah...just not the same without the hair, I'm afraid. But he's still got a great smile. I think him and Steffi are just great.

I have Andre's auto-bio and I was amazed to read about just how much he and Boris hate each other! It's a good read though.

I've said before, I wanted to be Gabriella Sabatini- she was really glam and exotic (and not in an identikit blond kind of way like all the Russian/Serbs these days). No idea what happened to her, she never really fulfilled her potential- but had the misfortuneto be against Graff. I loved Steffi because , like Navratilova, she was about the tennis, and not her looks (although i think Steffi's very attractive- Martina, not so much).

Why does Andre hate Boris?

Yannick Noah was lovely! Fabulous hair. Boris named his eldest son after him (Noah, not Yannick). Young Noah is a vey good looking lad too.

Martina and Jana Novotna were playing yesterday in the invited doubles, and they won !

Just seen on Rafa's site that he was going to play in a charity match with Dickdjok but he has had to cancel due to tendonitis in his knee, and so that he can rest, prepare and be ready for the Olympics.

That may be why he wasn't at his best last week.

Says the charity match will be re-scheduled, it was going to be at the Bernabau stadium.

Vamos Rafa ! We need you fit and well to retain your Gold.

He may be getting thumped but I'm quite loving Youzhny. :)

Vamos Rafa I've added him to my facebook too . I'd be looking to abvoid playing Dickdjok too, if i was him. He would be all smuggy smug, especially if he wins the titile
