I don't understand why she did it, she clearly hasn't made much money from it. Look at how she is living. Why do that to yourself as your 'career' if it doesn't even make you enough to have a decent (albeit immobile) life?

I know, they don't even seem to really "enjoy" their food -sitting by the bins shovelling it in with a plastic fork out of a polystyrene tray?!

I love food, probably too much, but for me eating is a revered experience, I insist on eating good food in relaxed and pleasant environments!

If she is that well off she should pay a career instead of continuing to fuck up her son's life.

Exactly, if she were sacrificing her health for mega bucks then it'd be easier to understand. A nice house, a full time cook, a carer to help her etc would change her life. But she clearly doesn't make anything like that mich money. Poor, poor son of hers.

On the other hand, she may be pretty much trapped now. How do you lose that much weight when you can barely move? God knows what's happened to her metabolism, and this is America - will she even have health insurance? Does Medicare cover the help she's going to need? This might be it for her. :(

If you decide to lose lots of weight you can get to a healthy weight again, but once you are that big even if you lost all the weight you would still have the skin. And is it ever possible to get rid of all the fat inside your arteries etc?

Giraffes - yes to the loose skin ( I have it - but not excessively, just some puckering) , but you can lose the internal fat in arteries and organs. Mine is v v low (has been assessed) and on a par with an elite athlete apparently ! ! !

And I think patty may even have more than 20 stones to lose to get down to a normal weight sadly.
